Ordered a catering spread for our son’s birthday. The food was phenomenal. I only managed to get a pic of the dessert tray even then guests were already digging into it. Thank you for some amazing food!!
Stopped in to pick up some fresh bread and meats for lunch. Service was fast and polite. After eating a few sandwiches the bread lasted multiple days and food was good.
Today I was in the mood for an easy dinner. I wanted something I could take home and throw in the oven. I thought about places in Brantford with those options and immediately thought of La Bottega. I have wanted to try it for awhile now. Its a small store located on King George Rd up past the Walmart plaza. When you walk in it is warm and welcoming with a large selection of items. There is a fridge freeezer? full of trays of take and bake foods. There was several types of pasta, canneloni, lasagnas, meatloaf and a bunch of other meal options. There are also several size options available from single size, to family size to party size and all at reasonable prices. I was impressed by the options. We decided on Nonnas lasagna. I took it home, and baked it at 375 degress for 2 hours. It was as easy as that! Then we had this beautiful, tasty, hot and ready lasagna which will feed us for a few days. I also grabbed these pastries because they caught my eye on the way to the check out. Probably my favorite part of the meal. They were sooooo good I cannot even put it into words. I would highly recommend La Bottega for all of your take and bake needs! If you know, you know!
I ordered penne and meatballs in the morning but when it was picked up for dinner and brought home I realized it was not what I ordered. They gave me penne in a meat sauce. I immediately phoned the La Bottega to inform them that this was not what I ordered. The person who answered the phone said they couldn’t do anything to correct it. That I would have to buy the meatballs. Eventually the owner called me and basically accused me of ordering the wrong food. Never did I get “a sorry for the mistake” or “what can we do to fix”. All I got was being accused of ordering the wrong food. This is the last time I will ever order from an establishment that treats their customers rudely.
Great quality food and friendly staff. Picked up a family size lasagna and reminded me of my great aunts famous lasagna. Absolutely delicious. Their pastries are very good too. Will definitely go back. Keep up the great work ladies!
Mary and her team are exceptional !! LaBottega always comes through. We love that we can get both regular and #GlutenFree menu items. We recently had our son’s wedding and LaBottega catered both the rehearsal dinner and the food for the groomsmen on the wedding day !! Fretting sizes, great quality and exceptional service. Oh boy magnifico ! Best Italian place in town. I'm pretty great google reviewer and k eat at a lot of places and this one gets Vinny's seal of approval ! Check out their sandwiches just this photo alone will make you drool ! Good job guys you're def going to be 1 of 2 of my caters for my wedding one day !
I'll never shop here again. A lady who works there three different times didn't hand me the debit machine to push no tip. I've looked over my bank records and noticed those three times I was charged more than I should have. That's considered stealing to me. Edit: After reviewing my bank record's even closer all of my purchases from this store over the past year, I've been charged at least a dollar more than I was supposed to. The younger employees just know how to add it to your total before handing you the debit machine to say no to a tip. Why would anyone continue to support a business like like this is beyond me. It could be possible they only do it to specific customers based on ethnicity. I brought my own bag or just carried what I bought. No extra charge for a bag. Just plain theft is what happened. There is no resolving this. I just want other customers to know how your business is run.
Great Italian deli. Nice staff. Delicious hot table. Hours are very good.
Great place! I love to attention to detail that they put into serving customer! And they now carry Canadian roasted Caffe Indulgente which is great!
