Popped in for the first time today for a replacement brompton tyre. They swapped it over while I waited. As an ex snowboarder I was amazed at the size of the place and the kit they have! Really friendly team with a real community spirit! I think I’ve found my new favourite shop.
Highly recommended! The team at finches emporium are friendly and knowledgeable about their wares from skis, boards to bikes! Special shout out to Chris who did a great job on my snowboard. They even have a global snow level tracker on their notice board!
Finches Emporium is an excellent shop! Plenty of stock, great prices and the customer service I received was very welcoming and friendly. I even got additional discount on top of a good price. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for ski, snow, cycling and skate equipment.
It is nice to have a ski shop locally. I found some good bargains when there was a sale. The staff was knowledgeable. They offer board waxing service. It was expensive so I always ended up doing it on the slope before heading home. I would love to try the board waxing service sometimes.
I visited the shop and had a chat about my first pair of skis. I found the whole experience to be very positive. Have been away twice in the last few weeks and the skis were everything I hoped for. Thanks very much. Great shop.
My bike felt very broken and was very difficult to ride. I took it to the shop with low expectations. Not only did they fix a puncture for 15 quid. He also tighten the chain and oiled my bike and now it honestly feels like a brand-new bike could not recommend the service enough..
Legendary establishment. London's last independent ski snowboard and bike store. Family owned and run since 1947. Hugely knowledgeable, massive amounts of info and advice available, even have blackboard with constantly updated snow stats for Austria / France / Italy / Switzerland / USA. I used to race regional level in Italy and I now live in the UK. This is the only place I go to for ski boots and skis. Highly recommended.
Amazing experience with Finches, who have very patiently helped me with getting ski boots and fitting them for me. Their knowledge is brilliant and aftercare totally unparalleled. I'd recommend this shop to anyone. Thanks to the team, especially Brad who fit my boots. J
Despite it being known as a ski shop, it is also a really good bike shop. Chris - the bike mechanic fixed an annoying creaking noise in my e-bike in less than an hour on a Sunday, a problem that many bike shops said they wouldn’t fix. Wouldnt trust anyone else with my bike other than these guys!
Superb local shop that caters for a wealth of outdoor sports. Family run business with experienced and very knowledgeable staff. Great value too. Highly recommend.
