Solid service, good turn around time and clear communication when I called them. In store experience with one mechanic was great. In store experience with Cedrick is strange, manners cost nothing and customer service is important. It's the second time I've interacted with you and both times have been somewhat unpleasant.
Brilliant service! My bike was a bit battered and bruised and now it is performing at it's best level. I opted for the standard service and feel as though the bike is brand new. It rides really well and all the problems have been fixed to a high standard. The front bar was straightened at no extra cost. These guys go above and beyond and really care about what they do. Very friendly customer service to boot. Will be back again, worth every penny. Thanks again BDB!!
I’ve taken both my bikes to Blue Door a couple of times now. Recently a lot of work - slightly random work - was required. They did a truly excellent job from start to finish. Communicative, too. Finding a decent bike shop with proper mechanics is hard: Blue Door is it. I can’t recommend highly enough.
I brought my bike in for a service for £100 and all they did was replace my front tyre without asking me I would've have easily done myself and add a back break. They then charged me an additional £112. Staff were rude and not particularly helpful.
I had a minor issue with my bike today which was very kindly fixed free of charge. Now how often do you receive that kind of service these days! I will be very happy to return for further assistance with my bike in the future. Many thanks for your kindness today Andrew!
Booked at appointment two days prior during the second lockdown. Came in on the day and was greeted by Lee who pushed my appointment to the front as I was in a rush. Performed a full service, refitted a couple bits didn’t charge for fitting and gave a full clean. Quality service, expert impartial advice and performed speedy but reliable work. Would highly recommend as a regular go to.
Update I have always loved this bike shop and I have taken several bikes here over the years. Today I brought in my son's new bike to be serviced. The guy working was so incredibly rude and demeaning. He kept on and on about the budget, cheap bike that I had purchased - I exclaimed that it was all that I could afford and he still continued on. I was wanting to book the bike in because I had not assembled it correctly and he was so rude, arrogant and condescending to me about it. I have never been treated like that as a customer. And I will never bring another bike there again. I was shocked by his behavior. [Previously review] ****I have taken in a number of different bikes on different occasions and I can honestly say that I LOVE THIS BIKE SHOP!!! The staff are courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and fast. Good value too! Every time that I go, I am impressed-- this review is long overdo. Louie was a star- thanks so much!
I want to share my very positive customer service experience. I brought in a a second-hand bike I'd bought for £20. I was fully prepared for a basic tune-up & service to determine if it was worth it or I'd just wasted £20. The repairman checked there and then ALL that would have to be replaced - way too much! Saving me a lot of time, money. I offered for him to please take something for his evaluation, but he wouldn't accept anything. I won't forget a good turn, so even though I haven't used the services YET, I recommend this business and will support it in the future.
Unfortunately a very rude and unpleasant approach to customers. It might be just my experience but every time I visited the shop I have been dismissed or told to come back as they are too busy. So they might be good for annual checks as you need to book in advance. For any bike emergency - this is not the place to go.
These guys are great. I have gone to them twice and they fixed my bike quickly with great service. No problem. Today the poor guy spent an hour taking my petals off they had been cinched. Labour cost- £10. Wow- that's great service- definitely going back for a tune up and more. They also offer same day service- who else does that?!?
