We have been using Daniel as our broker since we bought our first flat six years ago. Now he has just helped us to get a mortgage on our next place. On both occasions he has proved to be hardworking, tenacious and really nice to boot. Despite some challenging factors - including maternity leave, Covid and my position as a freelancer - he has always come through for us and helped us get a good mortgage at the best price. I immediately recommend him to friends and we will definitely use his services when our current mortgage is up for renewal. A good guy in the not-so-pretty process of home-buying!
Victoria provided us with absolutely outstanding service, from getting us a good mortgage rate even when they changed within the space of a morning! to sorting out our different insurances for us. She really stood out from the other brokers we spoke to - she properly listened to us, and was always very honest about what she could offer us vs what we might be able to find elsewhere. The service she provided was always friendly and professional - she answered all our questions and has always been on hand when we have needed her - sometimes with very tight turnarounds. Highly recommend!
The only reason I’m giving a 5 star review is that 10 stars aren’t available.. The effort and care that Daniel Walsh took in finding the right mortgage for me went far beyond my expectations. He is honest, straight forward and easy to work with. Daniel got me such an amazing deal and is the best mortgage broker I have met. I cannot recommend Daniel highly enough.
Would highly recommend Richard Lucy of Financial Planning Group. He has advised us on mortgages and life assurance for many years now and we always feel completely in safe hands with his advice. He found us a fabulous rate for our mortgage, which has bought massive benefits to our family finances. But it's his style that we find very reassuring. He's calm, professional and caring and I would never hesitate to recommend him, and I have do so with friends and family too.
I'm super pleased with the support and advice I received from Mortgage Heroes my main contact was Victoria Worthington as they were always available to me, highly approachable and answered all of my questions quickly and sufficiently. All steps in the process were proactively moved forward as and when needed, and Victoria regularly followed up and checked in with me during. While Victoria was on annual leave, her colleagues filled in just as well which I highly appreciated. I went through a mortgage process for the first time which is why I probably had more questions than usual but Victoria guided me really well, patiently and thoroughly which helped build my confidence about the situation quickly. I'm really pleased I chose to go with Mortgage Heroes, and recommend them warmly!
Clare was absolutely brilliant from the very start through to completion! We were first time buyers and Clare took to time to have a detailed phone call with us - breaking down the process, what we can afford, patiently answering any questions we had and there were many! She was extremely proactive and contactable, including video calls in her evening to help ensure we had everything underway. We felt supported throughout the process and are certain that Clare's reliability and input helped things go as smoothly as they did. Honestly cannot recommend enough as first time buyers but also at any stage of a chain! Thanks Clare.
I found Peter knowledgeable and good at giving pragmatic and sound advice. He was timely in getting the best rates the day before they were due to go up. Peter found very me good reasonable mortgage deals and worked efficiently sending me info straight away, with no delay. I highly recommend Peter for his dedication and good work ethic, as well as being an amiable person.
Me and my partner recently moved into our house. Victoria made a very stressful process stress free. A previous house with a previous mortgage advisor had fallen through and we took the very wise decision to use a different mortgage advisor and Victoria was a breath of fresh air. We had regular communication throughout the sale and were able to get our dream home with a good mortgage. A massive thank you to Victoria. I couldn’t recommend her enough and we will definitely be going to her for mortgage advise in the future.

The Finance Planning Group have been integral in ensuring our dream move to our new home. Trevor Farley in particular has been incredibly helpful and patient in explaining and advising the best avenues to go down, not only with our mortgage, but also important insurance policies, Trevor has made certain that we have the right cover that's most applicable to us. Along with Trevor, Angela Yeats and the Finance Planning team have looked after us so well and I couldn't recommend them enough.
