Really nice place to go walking with the dog. Lots of wildlife can be seen in the park, as well as the many friendly dog walkers out for a chat. The large pond was filled with ducks & swans & we spent a while looking at them.
Beautiful walks around the woodland park.. Great place for the kids to go feed the ducks and swans and birds. Unfortunately the play park was closed and did look run down. Please get this play park upgraded and open and will be even better place to visit.
Great wee park, full of bird life. Well looked after by the local community group. Lots of dog walkers at all times of the day and evening!
Such a beautiful walk! Even on an icy cold January day. Dogs loved the fresh air. Lots of wildlife and information posts on the wildlife you’ll find in the park.
Fantastic place for families, dog walkers, runners. Everyone will definitely find this park unique.

It is a very nice family park, a loch with birds can watch. A playground that newly fitted. Lots of dog walkers, and no foul as far as I experienced. Children hadn’t got any dirty shoe soles yet from walking in this park. If you go in different seasons, you get different views. The willows are pretty and so enjoyable to walk along the bridge on the loch too! There’s a scooter/ skateboard park next to it. Near portobello. But I heard there was an attack there few years ago in the very early morning, I hope this won’t happen again, otherwise, will not be a families place to go to.
A nice place. There is also a children's park.
Lovely poo ark, not far from Portobello, ideal for stroll or dog walk, also has large loch full of a variety of birds from ducks to dean's, geese and herons, sometimes joined by an otter. Extended wooden walkway projects out over the water to give good view of wildlife
Loved the place! Loved the narrow Figgate barn flowing through! Loved the Figgate pond and the birds! It's a lovely place to take a walk and spend time!
