If the beach is too busy, the Abercorn Park or Daisy Park and its known locally is a great spot to chill out and walk around. Close to the high street with easy access to public transport
Nice park, well kept and near porty prom / high st Plenty benches Nearby street parking
Lovely little park a short distance from Portobello beech. A quiet and friendly place.
A nice little and enclosed green space close to sea front and beside main road. Lots of benches to sit on and a path that goes around the outside. Nice and flat. No play park or other facilities. Usually quite quiet so nice spot for a picnic if hou want away from hustle and bustle.
Good for doggies <3
A small but well maintained park. Plenty of open space, lined with large mature trees and with several large plant beds spaced throughout. In the summer this is a favourite with kids and families and is a venue for dog walkers all year round. Most owners look after their dogs but some don't clean up after them. Likewise most people make an effort to keep the park tidy, with a minority not bothering. Currently having new benches added and the flower beds enlarged and replanted.
An old Victorian formal park in Joppa surrounded by attractive houses on three sides, great for meeting nice people and walking dogs, and not far from the Esplanade and beach.
Beautiful quiet oasis a mere stone's throw from busy Portobello promenade. Can be busy with dog walkers but still generally peaceful and relaxing.
Nice place to walk your dog, seems to be local place for dog walkers but not too busy. Parking is also handy in surrounding streets.
Dogs are welcomed and usually all get along. Houses nearby are lovely, as are the flower beds. Most people collect what their dog left. Just as most close gates properly.
