Fellview Health Care

I do like this surgery, it's close to home and there's plenty of parking nearby and even disabled parking at one side of the building. Access is easy with enough space to use a wheelchair with or without any help, I use a electric wheelchair but maybe my driving is very good as I've not run into anything as yet lol. The ladies on the reception are very friendly and will help you get what you need, not all appointments run on time but we all expect a little waiting as it's the norm.

Absolutely dreadful, it's like it's a mission statement or something to make patients feel as belittled, embarrassed and to leave them with the minimum amount of dignity possible after ringing them for services they are generally expected to provide! So so rude and one very rude doctor with a very long name. If I could review Dr Goh personally..its 5 stars

Very disappointed in the current service. Getting an appointment with a doctor is impossible. The phone is either engaged or you have to wait in a queue of people above 20. When you finally get through after half an hour, the receptionists are very curt, indifferent and have the lowest morale I have heard for a long time. Whilst I am completely empathetic towards all healthcare professionals, especially at the minute, the current standards of the Cleator Moor Fellview Healthcare reception team have dropped to below basic levels of politeness, customer care or empathy. I am writing this publically as a review because getting ahold of the practice manager is nigh on impossible. I'm also going to lodge my concerns with NHS England.

Only reason they've got 1 star is because I can't give 0, what a useless service!!! for anyone with memory problems, don't count on a text messege to remind tou of your appointment as you won't get one. As for telephone reception they don't have a clue!!!

Usually running late. you never get informed Extremely busy. Quicker to go to reception, as can be on the phone a long long long time.

Absolute disgrace. Nobody ever seems to communicate and never any appointments. Just been for another appointment at the circus at 11am. Arrived at surgery at 10.46am and sat waiting un 11.20am. So my Carer went up to desk to ask about appointment only to be told that she hadn't booked me in!. Then receptionist tried blaming me for not being in on time. Absolutely disgusting way to treat patients. As usual it's the receptionist that are the problem. Had a telephone consultation today 30/8/22 can't remember Doctors name but what a Fantastic call. Very thorough and easy to talk to and explained everything clearly. . Well here we go AGAIN. I had a telephone consultation on the 19th December. Cancelled other appointment so I could speak to a Doctor. BUT NOBODY called and today they are permanently engaged. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING WAY TO TREAT PATIENTS!!

Tried to call FVH and it rang and rang and rang. Impossible to talk to anyone. 20 minutes later I had to hang up. “Your call is very important to us“ said the incessant automated voice. Really? It certainly doesn’t feel like it

I’ve tried and tried to call this surgery this morning to no avail. It is not good enough! This practice is not fit for purpose. I’ll be leaving it soon, I’m joining the Surgery at Seascale which is where I live now. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone it’s a shambles!

Sorry but this is a serious mistake of a doctor's. Can never get to see a doctor even in emergency, just get sent to A&E. Was supposed to be the be all and end all of places, instead it's a white elephant.

I’ve lived here for 2 years I have ongoing medical conditions that haven’t been reviewed because I can’t get an appointment, I’ve spent days/hours on the phone for an appointment to be refused when finally getting through and told to phone again in the morning, I have had to resort to emergency 111 to be diagnosed with very high blood pressure. Hopefully hoping to transfer to another medical practice.
