This was my 4th emergency appointment for the same problem , not at Egremont. The dentist was extremely hard to understand being possibly African I am not racist at all I had to keep saying sorry but I cannot understand you, which seemed to make her cross. I had to have another xray taking into account I have a large sore abcess at the back of my front teeth and under my tonguo, she was very rough and not at all apologetic for the discomfort she was causing. She wrote a prescription for antibiotics which made me feel sick continously, I had to stop them after 3 days
Excellent dentist! Teeth have never felt better. Bernabe is a very friendly and great dentist, and does a great job of making you feel comfortable. Lisa was my nurse and also did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and is clearly passionate. All in all, the staff that work here are great and I'd come back for every future appointment 10/10!
Just started having treatment here with the amazing Bernabe. Friendly staff, calm atmosphere. Everything explained fully. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
I'm sorry but I aid an emergency apintment 2 times and both time I walked out in more pain than I walked in with I now my tooth has cracked and fell away which was painless when it happened but just today my filling has also cracked and partly fell off and I am in pain again so I need another appointment but I am honesty terrified and the only way I think I will be comferbke getting it taken out is by being placed under Anastasia as I cry any time people talk to me about dentists. I don't know the person's name who did my theeth but I honestly hope they have been fired as I am not the only person they have done this to.
Had an emergency extraction. Dentist didn’t listen to concerns regarding the numbing and said the injections are stronger now... nope could feel the pain. Had something stronger and could still feel it. The injections alone were stupidly painful. I come out shaking with tears in my eyes. When I raised a complaint she, she tried to say that it was me, because I had seen the tooth. I could feel every inch of the tooth being removed. I only continued because she told me it would come to a point of no return, so I had no option. Never have I cried coming out of a dentist. I strongly suggest if you have a bad experience here, raise your concern with the practise manager or look up the complaints process on Bupas website. Animals receive better treatment than offered from the dentist I seen here. The shame is the dental nurse was lovely and did all the explaining while the dentist stood in the corner preping the equipment.
Great practice, great staff - but need more dentists to stop turning away NHS patients.
I've just had a tooth extraction and I have to say that I honestly didn't feel a thing!! I didn't even feel the 4 numbing injections, the dentist and dental nurse were really nice and explained everything before and during the procedure, the receptionist was very pleasant and I noticed a lot of cleaning around going on so I'm very happy with the service I received
I've had 3 appointments so far to sort my teeth out and the staff have been amazing and the dentist, bernie, is amazing. I would recommend these guys if you have anxieties about going to the dentist as they are brilliant
The receptionist, Kurtis, was exceptionally helpful any time I've tried to call and book an appointment. Above and beyond service from him, and the three ladies who treated me today for an emergency appointment/extraction. I've had a horrendous time during lockdown witb tooth problems and it was an absolute relief to finally get some help and get this issue fixed. I was shaking so much in the chair, super frightened of the procedure I was about to undergo however all the girls were fabulous, friendly, professional and so kind, caring and considerate towards me. Thank you so much, from a very numbed face girl from Kent. <3
Dentist, Abi, and Nurse, Scarlett, removed plaque today without hurting me. This practice have provided my dental care for over 10 years and have looked after me well.
