A lovely little find, run by a welcoming family. We had a roast beef dinners which were just what we needed! I don't recall seeing much of my brownie sundae or my husbands gooseberry pie because we demolished it in seconds! I would highly recommend looking this pub up if you want a warm and friendly environment to dine in. The barman even entertained my son with his toys! How sweet!! It's so good to see local pubs like this one still going :-) We would definitely return!

This place is brilliant! Tucked away, very welcoming hosts, excellent real ale, excellent food, also for vegetarians and vegans. Very dog-friendly. Loyal locals. Just the right place after a long walk in the surrounding countryside........

Visited a long time ago under previous management soight have changed since then. Really nice cosy, typical local pub. Good range of beers and good food.

Great little local country pub, great food at a good price and back in the hands of Su and Grahame Nutt who have brought it back up to a lovely standard.
