Popped in for a pint this afternoon. Was the first person in for that day and the pint Timmy Taylor’s Landlord I had was lovely. Really well pulled and it tasted great. Really friendly staff and a nice, proper pub feel about the place, would definitely recommend!
Really nice cosy rustic pub gorgeous inside, really cosy pub with very friendly staff. Dod friendly with massive dog biscuits for free!!!
So it’s open again. All fresh inside. 2 hand pulls of real ale. Just drinks, no food.

A lovely little find, run by a welcoming family. We had a roast beef dinners which were just what we needed! I don't recall seeing much of my brownie sundae or my husbands gooseberry pie because we demolished it in seconds! I would highly recommend looking this pub up if you want a warm and friendly environment to dine in. The barman even entertained my son with his toys! How sweet!! It's so good to see local pubs like this one still going :- We would definitely return!
Staff are lovely very friendly atmosphere cosy calm and relaxing stunning views and a sun trap. Would make it my regular if I lived in Holmfirth. Not tried food but picture look stunning soon will. We will be back.
Great local drinking pub. Has had a change of ownership a few times now. It's new management has re-established it into a great pub that is very popular with the locals. Great outdoor deck with views in the sunshine for when the weather is glorious. Great range of hand pulled beers on tap, as well as a very good range of wines, spirits, extensive gin options, Cider options include the non alcoholic kind so your not tied to a lime and soda or an elderflower fevertree if your not drinking! And the atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. New Year's Eve they will do an event with a live band and an evening buffet, and every Wednesday they have a quiz and supper night. But other than that they currently don't do food, however there are snacks available at the bar. But that doesn't mean to say it won't extend to food in the future as it used to serve meals in the past. Great place to have a few pints and catch up with friends! Edit: they are looking to do food again shortly, the kitchen is being refurbished. Has also now got sports so the blokes can go there to watch the football if they want which is a nicer pub to go to than Stumble Inn.
Ok not a traditional pub though
We had a fantastic meal. The staff are extremely welcoming. A real pub with a good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it.
