The fairway hotel is now known as The Dunes and is lovely. The rooms are nice and the food is great in the hotel restaurant 'The Coast'. It's slightly out of the way but worth a look.

Went for a birthday meal. Very busy even for a Wednesday so booking advisable. Excellent menu, delicious food and great drinks selection. Nothing too much trouble. Laid back atmosphere. Will definitely return

Now called 'THE DUNES' the restaurant is called 'COAST' when they have finished additions and improvements, I will probably give 5 stars.

The food was fantastic but the service was utterly shocking. Staff need to be trained properly. Wrong food was brought to the table, our dessert cutlery was removed from the table without being asked if we wanted desserts, 25 minutes later we managed to order some desserts which took a further 15 minutes to arrive. I'm still waiting for the pint I ordered. The couple next to us had plastic in their dessert and instead of just apologising, the waiter started making absurd excuses. Won't be returning until the staff know what they are doing and can remember orders.
