Firstly the hosts/owners are lovely and easy to deal with go above and beyond . The room was really comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. Shower was lovely and hot no issues whatsoever whole place was nice and clean couldn’t fault it one bit Thankyou very much we will return in the future

Only spent 3 nights here but could have stayed longer. Upon check-in was greeted by Sophie and Luke, what a lovely friendly couple and so welcoming. Went to our room, which was well above standards, clean tidy and lovely fresh towels laid out for us. Went to a pub for dinner, which Sophie had recommended, and was glad we did, followed by a lovely night's sleep. Now comes the following morning, time for breakfast, Number 19 Guesthouse deserves awards for the breakfast alone, again greeted by Sophie and Luke, again welcoming and friendly, breakfast was worth 10 stars, as well as serving breakfast they engage with people and if you want ideas for things to do in the area then I'm sure they could come up with something for you as their knowledge of the area is second to none, this continued throughout our stay. All in all to say I would recommend Number 19 Guesthouse is an understatement, if you want a warm, friendly, welcoming and hospitable place to stay, then this is for you, they deserve a lot higher than 5 stars. We will be returning, thank you Sophie and Luke

Stayed here 3 nights end of may 2024 , was wonderful room plenty of space ,really large bathroom with shower loved their shampoo and conditioner supplied lovely friendly owners Sophie and Luke very helpful with recommendations /suggestions where to go. I was in great spot for the safari zoo as was just up the road about 1 mile. , which was excellent for my zoo experiences that I’d booked ..the only thing would of made the stay better would of been a breakfast especially cooked would of been icing on the cake !!  or even continental would of been good … but I highly rec this accommodation. Top notch !  ps thank you for the biscoff biccy.  xx

Booked this for me, my partner and my little girl for one night and in all honesty I wish it had been for longer! The couple that manage this b&b are very welcoming with good knowledge of the local area and activities to do. The b&b itself was very clean and cosy, the room was more than  spacious enough for us with a more than spacious en suite & their breakfast was amazing! The room also had your essentials which is a bonus when there is always something to forget when having little ones, ironing board & iron, hairdryer, shampoo & conditioner dispenser, Will definitely be booking up again to do all the amazing things nearby with the little one. The location itself is literally down the street from a town full of places to eat and drink and plenty of shops incase of need of anything.

Really good value for money. Sophie & Luke are lovely hosts,very helpful with where to eat and things to do. The family room is ideal with plenty of space, for myself, husband and teenage daughter.  We had a lovely few days away with local attractions not far away. Special mention has to be about the breakfast, having stayed in 4-5 star hotels, in the Lake District, Number 19 cooked breakfasts were far superior!!
