EXT/EGTE Exeter Airport
The airport is five miles from the city of Exeter and is situated adjacent to the A30, close to junction 29 of the M5 motorway.
Exeter Airport is operated by Exeter and Devon Airport Limited (EDAL) which is owned by Patriot Aerospace, part of the Rigby Group. Within Patriot Aerospace, Regional and City Airport Management is responsible for the operation of the group's airport interests. The Rigby Group announced their acquisition of Exeter Airport on 26 June 2013 from Balfour Beatty, who were the owners following the sale of the airport by Devon County Council in January 2007.
The Management Team, together with over 250 members of staff, oversee the daily running of the airport.
EXT is Exeter Airport's IATA (International Air Transport Association) code. The IATA code is used for airline timetables, reservations, and baggage tags.
EGTE is Exeter Airport's ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) code. The ICAO code is used by pilots, air traffic control and flight-tracking services.
