Was like a trip back in time to the 70's! Urine smelling, grafitti'd, tiny narrow ramps and spaces. Dark and dingy!nLocation is great for city centre and cathedral but would not try to park there again. Avoid if you can!
Rather dirty, untidy, graffiti plastered unpleasant indoor carpark. Including the all too often overpowering odor of urine in the stairwells. However, it is easy to get to, well-lit and quite close to the town centre. It's also free after 1800hrs.
Parked for a week and surprisingly yeah i know, no incidents. I personally dont mind the grafitti, but the urine smell and occasional vomit was where i draw the line. I guess it would be hard to police without increasing the costs but perhaps additional CCTV might act as a deterrents. Needless to say from the clip, additional lighting is required to increase visibility and safety. At the time of writing this, it was cheapest parking zone within the region at £11 for the day.
Dim, smells of urine, boarded up doors everywherennMain reason for the low rating though is that there is no pedestrian step free access, if you come here with a wheelchair or a pram you will have to walk out via the vehicle exit.nnThere is a lift but it's out of order, instead of fixing it a very permanent looking sign has been put up at the entrance sending disabled people to different car parks but we didn't notice this until later
Signs on the stairs to indicate what level you are on would be handy!nPay by phone in a car park with no signal is not helpful.nDirections in the car park itself are pretty poor when you are driving in first time
