Parked for a week and surprisingly yeah i know, no incidents. I personally dont mind the grafitti, but the urine smell and occasional vomit was where i draw the line. I guess it would be hard to police without increasing the costs but perhaps additional CCTV might act as a deterrents. Needless to say from the clip, additional lighting is required to increase visibility and safety. At the time of writing this, it was cheapest parking zone within the region at £11 for the day.
Mixed feelings. Can you park a car here? Yes. Did I feel safe? Not particularly. Why? So dark and enclosed. Graffiti everywhere. Would I park here again? Not sure. What about the location? Perfect for the quay and cathedral.
Very dark and dingy. Lights that were there were dim. Low ceiling room. Access was lots of stairs. Vagrant using the stairway to live/lurk, which was quite intimidating, especially if you were a female alone.nDreadful place to park and cost about £4.
Multi storey car park providing access to the quays area of Exeter.nThe car park is pay and display unlike most multi storey car parks nowadays.nIt is dark and not particularly well lit.nThe exit doors on level four had graffiti sprayed on them and gave the impression this wasn’t a safe place to be.nThe Quays themselves are fantastic with lots of interesting buildings, activities, bars, eateries and artisan craft shops.nThere is plenty of walking along the water’s edge, and this is well worth checking out.
Be warned! I would not be paid to come back here. My son described it as scary, and like something out of a horror movie. The graffiti was not just on the stairwell but all over the car park walls, in particular some 'horror movie clown' faces which weren't family friendly. Low lighting, lack of Ringo signs and a steep stairwell were also pretty rubbish. Zero pride from whoever owns this car park.
