Nice pool for a quick splash around with the family. Lockers need a pound. There are free hairdryers & one of the spinny things to dry stuff in. Nice warm showers for when you come out.

DONT EVEN BOTHER MOST SNOBBY & RUDE PLACE I HAVE EVER VISITED.
I am reading Anthropology at Oxford and every holiday I come and spend my free time visiting my parents here in Derbyshire. I take the opportunity whilst I am here to join a local Gym, the last two times I have chosen the Woodlands Gym in rowsley which is great but has NO pool. On seeing the new development i was keen to test the waters, and so after cycling back from chesterfield i ventured in. the lady on the desk was both rude and dismissive making it perfectly clear that i was NOT welcome as a temporary member. Well excuse me for breathing but Ive worked as a freelance Journalist and Photographer all around the world and to come home and be greeted with such inappropriate mannerism was a total slap in the face. this place should wake up and smell the reality of the financial state of our country. they only want your money.
and seem to be running a closed society type of operation. us and them is alive and well in Derbyshire. steer clear.

Ive been going to the gym on and off for over 6 years and always found the staff welcoming and very polite.I think they manage to retain staff well as you can recognise staff having been there for some years, good sign of a happy team?
Occasionally there have been are minor faults such as the sauna door needing attention but this has been repaired quickly.
