Stayed here for 2 nights. On the seafront. easy walk to the beach, and they also do boat trips. Very clean, and lovely bathroom. Nice comfortable bed. There is a kitchen downstairs that you can use. The location is perfect right on the seafront with everything you require in Herne Bay right on the doorstep. Beach, pubs, restaurants and shops. The room we had was a decent size and spotlessly clean. Nick was very friendly and helpful and always willing to attend to our every request. It was nice to sit in the evening on a bench in front of the guest house. There is no private parking and although Nick can provide a discounted parking permit, it is still expensive to park. The local council seem to want to discourage visitors but we always managed to find some free street parking 5 to 10 minutes walk away.
Well sad to say we are leaving today it has been the best holiday we have had Evening Tide is beyond a guest house. Nick and Lou and the team are simply the Best the house is kept clean to a high standard, the rooms are beautiful and the toiletries that are provided are so good even a sewing kit. Now the breakfast is absolutely fantastic everything you can possibly need is available they are so attentive to the guests needs. I have never experienced such hospitality in the UK. We are truly thankful for such an excellent holiday. Thank you for making us feel so welcome
Nick was the perfect host. On arrival we were greeted by both our names then shown to our room which was better than expected. Clean room perfectly presented, couldn’t have been happier. Breakfast was the best, beautifully cooked and presented and such a lot of choice. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff. Location perfect as well. On the front and lots of amenities close by.
Lovely 2 night stay at the Evening Tide Guest House. We were instantly made to feel welcome by Nick, who is very friendly and helpful. Our family room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped, and with a good shower too. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice and even some homemade banana loaf to take out with us.
We booked the stay for the Open in 2020, but as things turned out no one could go. Telephoned Nick and no problem changing the dates to this year. Upon arrival, Nick explained that unfortunately the room was a little small - well believe me it was not and was extremely comfortable, the shower was excellent and good size. Next morning the breakfast was excellent and superbly cooked, service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Afterwards asking where we could pick up some refreshments whilst at the golf, we were supplied with some banana cake to eat whilst there which was very tasty. Overall the stay was excellent, the hotel very clean and tidy and no way could you not fault the service offered. Our first visit to Herne Bay and Kent, and most likely not our last. Nick and his good lady deserve to do well, and would certainly recommend a stay here to anyone. Once again many thanks for such a wonderful stay and making our time there so enjoyable.
Lovely stay. Perfect room. Lots of treats in the room, biscuits, bottle of water, tea, coffee and even hot chocolate! Immaculately clean, airy, bright, fresh smelling, windows you can open and a fan in the room! Black out curtains and a sea view. We hope to return soon!Rooms: 5/5
We loved the fact the property was very clean and tidy. Also, Nick was very friendly and assertive during our stay 4 nights. We were welcomed with Banana Bread at the breakfast. We would prefer to have variety of breakfast options instead of the same dish. In summary, definitely recommend for short stay.
Excellent customer service which is echoed by excellent standard of cleanliness. My stay was for 3 nights and amidst the cold weather it was comfortably warm inside Evening Tide B&B. The new room in the extension is spacious and the decor is excellent. Included in the room is a good use of space for hanging clothes. There is a hairdryer, iron and board and extra blanket. The owners work exceptionally hard to maintain the high standards.
Spotlessly clean excellent facilities. Nothing is too much trouble for Nick and Monica. I've stayed here several times the last being Christmas 2019. I arrived Christmas Eve for a four night stay. The house was beautifully decorated and on Christmas morning the tables were laid with crackers & all the guests were like one big extended family which was lovely for me being on my own. Breakfast as usual was excellent with so much choice. Looking forward to my next visit.
