I had my mot with them , can't fault the service l had . The only problem l had was when l booked them l spoke to a lady who assured me l would be able to get a lift back from Saltash to Plymouth , but when l arrived was told they don't supply drivers . Fine but if l knew l would have had other plans so was not happy. They need to make sure the staff are up dated with all the proper advice to give customers.
I've always bought my cars here.both me and my husband buy second hand vehicles from saltash branch .They are helpful and actually don't pressure you to much to buy.You can have a huge choice of cars to buy online and they will transfer it to your nearest branch for a fee which is taken from the vehicle price should you choose to buy.There is a service plan to available which is monthly payments, by the end of the year you have paid for your service. They also clean your car for you which is part of this service package .you can hire a car but have to book far in advance , that's the only problem , otherwise you wait for your hours for your car to be done .which doesn't effect those living nearby, but others who live a long way away , it's quite a long time to be waiting around.just something to bear in mind .We have been very lucky with the cars we have bought recently. It's worth visiting their website ! You might get a good deal on your old car for part exchange.
Awful. Stay well clear. Terrible customer service. Long long waits. Dont do what they promise and cut corners. Bought car 4 weeks ago with extended warranty which includes courtesy car. Instantly had issues with car going into limp mode. Staff completely disinterested in fixing the problem. I have done most organising myself. And no courtesy car availible!! In end I requested the car to be sent to audi as the couldn't fix the fault. I regret doing any business with them
Visited site over the weekend, parking is at best chaotic. Given proximity to on going local construction, the external display vehicle's were a little less cared for than could be expected, the staff were helpful although seemingly distracted. Will revisit on a weekday to see if things are a little more organised, and try and get the information we would have liked on a couple of the used vehicle's.
Really good, purchased a Zafira here last week I dealt with Steve he was great not pushy, relaxed and very helpful. Its a smaller Evans Halshaw but I prefer that to the larger dealers, would be happy to recommend.
Absolutely horrendous customer care. Lied to at every opportunity before purchase had even completed. The Dealer Principal never returns phone calls, despite leaving several requests asking him to do so. We were nothing but polite and patient, yet I'd often be put through to a department with them picking up the phone and then putting it straight back down again cutting me off without saying a word. There are much better branches of Evans Halshaw around, including locally in Plymouth. Please consider using them first, as this franchise are nothing but dishonest, unprofessional and downright rude.
Booked to view a second hand car, upon arrival the car was boxed in, and absolutely filthy. On further inspection, several minor faults and one major was picked up despite me not being a mechanic. When returning the key, I was asked if I wanted to book a test drive - I thought that was what I did when I called 2 hours earlier. When discussing all of the issues, I was told 'Evans Halshaw' do not negotiate on price! The estimated cost of repairs would have been around £400.00 - so I walked away. Very disappointing and a complete waste of time. Your experience, however, may be 100% better than mine.
What an amazing service. My daughter bought a 'new to her' car last September and purchased a Evans Halshaw extended warranty at the same time. The warning light for engine management system came on Monday; car delivered to Evans Halshaw Saltash on the same day and 'Dave' arranged to have it checked; collected the vehicle today. Replacement sensor and shock absorber that they discovered during their check covered by the warranty so not charge to our daughter. Vehicle cleaned inside and out before we collected it. Our dealings with them from start to finish were exceptional. Thank you.
Excellent customer service and I would highly recommend Evans Halshaw Saltash. Bought a car under the move me closer scheme, took a while to get here but well worth the wait. The valeting and bodywork done were excellent. The deal was done on the day of viewing and the service was first class. Everything was set up easily before driving away such as tax and insurance and warranty and part exchanging. Hot drinks supplied too! It's also worth looking at vauxhall insurance as they offer a great deal for when the free drive away insurance expires.
