Overall a great experience part-ex’ing my car and upgrading to a newer model. Will was courteous and efficient in dealing with all the paperwork on handover day. I found it a little odd that they do not negotiate on price of the cars, only on the part ex value, but the deal was still a good one and if you’re not a fan of haggling it keeps things simple. I had some mats thrown in but don’t expect much fuel! Second car purchase from Evans Halshaw, first one was Newport Rd, and will definitely return in future as I’m not a fan of the hard sell and you don’t get that here. Thanks Will.
Great service and mot carried out on my ford, very pleased. Booking was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful, skye was great and was great keeping me updated and sorting everything out even loan car. The loan car was clean and great, even made me think of purchasing a new car. The service was very reasonably priced. Process of dropping off and collecting was easy and straight forward. Would highly recommend this garage for service and mot. One of best garages i have been to.
I purchased a second hand car from here and was offered a service plan to get a service every year and discounted MOT. I took my car in for it's yearly service and MOT on Wednesday at 8.30am and was told it would be ready to pick up by 12.30pm and I'd get a call once it was ready. At 2.30pm I had still not heard from them so called to check on the progress of my car. I was told it would be ready by 3pm so I went to collect it at 3pm and it was still not processed. I was told to wait as it wouldn't be much longer. I finally had my car at 4.30pm. A whole 4 hours after the time I was originally told. I was informed that to pass the MOT I would need later new exhaust and new windscreen wipers so I got that booked in for 2 days later on the Friday at 8.30am. Again I was told I would get a call when it was ready. I called later that day to check on the progress and get an estimated time for collection and was told the work was all finished and they were just doing the MOT re-test and my car would be ready in half an hour. Again, I went to collect my car and ended up waiting over an hour. On the Sunday, 2 days after I had had the work done I was out in my car in the rain and my windscreen wiper came loose and fell off!! The garage was closed as it was Sunday so I went back on Monday to complain. They fitted a new wiper but didn't so much as an offer an apology. I have cancelled my service plan and will not be going there again. If they cannot fit a windscreen wiper correctly then I don't have much confidence in the rest of the work they do. I would definitely NOT recommend!
Really impressed with the garage. Arrived and the 9 year old car looked absolutely immaculate and in great condition. Already serviced and MOT with 4 new tyres ready to drive away. Dealt with Vince who is a great guy. Friendly and helpful, sorted me out quickly and easily. Nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend!
Visited here with a specific car in mind, was greeted by Neil after we were given some space to view in our own time which was lovely and refreshing!. Went in to discuss further on price and payment plans and found that he was extremely helpful and only wanted to do what was best for us as buyers. Then had a test drive the following day and didn't feel pressured to buy the car but did anyway because it was wonderful! Neil has been nothing but helpful, especially with part-exchanging my old car and the difficulties I have had with it. Would recommend!
Excellent service, bought 2 cars previously from Evans Halshaw. No problems or issues with buying the car. Paper work all straight forward. Easy process, from test driving the car to purchasing it!. Will buy again. Good quality cars.
Absolutely wonderful team at Evans Halshaw. From the whole journey of selecting my car to collecting my car, was an amazing experience. I highly recommend if I could give a 10 star rating I would. Bought a car from the Treforest branch of Evans halshaw. The salesman Brad was extremely helpful and sorted out any queries that I had. The car was moved closer to me so I could view before buying and arrived a couple of days after I requested it. Brad explained every step of the process and was very polite and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!
Having visited the showroom to view a golf gti which I have looked for a while ,I was please to purchase the car at a competitive price and in great condition. The staff ,I used the services of Bradley Powell he was polite and had a great knowledge of the car and patient with any questions making the process easy .well done will recommend to others.
Absolutely dreadful customer service, was sold a car with break pads on the metal and shock absorber problems, car was returned 3 times before it was sorted and we were made to feel like we were making the problems up. There was expense and inconvenience for us every time we didnt have the car. When the car was first purchased we had to wait 3 weeks for a windscreen to be replaced and we were listened while they blamed everyone else for the problem. We saw 2 sets of customers leave angrily when we were in the showroom and with reflection we should of done the same, i have emailed them with my worries and guess what??, not reply. I would never recommend this company actually i would go out of my way to tell people not to use them.
