The staff at Evade have been fantastic with my daughter over the last few years. They give an incredible amount of positivity within her training.nThe club areas are very well thought out, meaning attendees are able to access a variety or training areas from bags and pads to rings and core strengthening areas. There are also multiple martial arts that people can participate in.nThe waiting area is lovely and clean with a great cafe area for drinks and snacks. A great gym where staff are as keen for your child to succeed as you are. A family run club that keep the individual at the forefront of all they do.
Fabulous gym. I started 6 years ago when my son was in a ninjas class to fill the time, I go 3-4 times a week now and it’s been amazing for my fitness and energy. I’ll be going for black belt at my next grading! It’s totally inclusive, everyone is encouraged to reach their best regardless of age, fitness level etc. Lots of different classes to choose from in timetable and great facilities. Top class coaches who invest in all students. My daughter goes now as well and she loves it. Welcoming, respectful culture. Very lucky to have this place round the corner. I’d recommend it to anyone.
I would have said 5 stars with no hesitation, but the cafe they have isn't always manned or fully stocked.
My two sons have trained in martial arts since the age of 4 and we have tried many gyms over the years. Ever since we found Evade we have never looked back! The gym has a friendly, warm, and all-inclusive vibe. The number of different styles taught is also truly impressive concentrating heavily on good technique. One of my lads competes at a high level in a number of different styles and has been very successful, winning many World, European, English, British, and regional titles. This is 100% down to the coaches who reside there. I highly recommend this gym to everyone, child or adult of any experience from beginners, and hobbyists to seasoned fighters, even if you want to train just for fitness you will find no better gym!
Evade is an exceptional martial arts gym. The coaches are very welcoming and offer extremely high quality instruction in multiple styles suitable for both beginners or the more advanced. The facilities are likewise excellent: The training space is large and well equipped, there is a changing room, and comfortable seating area whilst you wait. I strongly recommend training here.
