Gritstone CrossFit

Gritstone is an amazing place! I've been a member since it first opened 2 years ago and the improvement in my fitness and wellbeing is phenomenal! The coaches are knowledgeable, friendly and so passionate about their work, always on hand to help with anything you need- whether that's advice or an encouraging high five at the end of a tough workout. They really get to know all members and keep their individual needs and goals in mind. The gym environment is safe and clean, and there are exciting bits of brand-new kit introduced regularly to make sure workouts remain varied and challenging. There's something on offer for everyone- whether you're after a fat-burning high-intensity conditioning class or you want to improve your weightlifting technique. No matter which class you choose, the coaching and expertise on offer is second to none. You're guaranteed a good giggle with all the lovely, welcoming members too! I've gone from being someone who was overweight and never did any form of exercise to attending classes 3-4 times a week. I'm can now call myself a fit, healthy and active person thanks to Gritstone!

This place is just incredible! I have never enjoyed going to 'the gym' and I haven't ever stuck to anything fitness-wise in my whole life. That was until I found Gritstone. This huge family has been nothing but welcoming to me and my husband. We are thoroughly grateful for all of their support and guidance on the road to getting fitter! I still have a way to go, but I love it - every single second! The coaches are amazing and the whole place is just inspiring, changing lives daily!! Thanks Gritstone!

After moving into the area I was looking for a great source of friends and to keep my passionate for Crossfit alive! Gritstone has to be one of the best places for community and the coaching is second to none! The coaches keep you going through some tough workouts safely and more than anything they have picked up on things that have instantly helped some of my lifts and movements...plus your fitness goes through the roof! Thanks to Gritstone for feeling like a haven! Keep being amazing!

Gritstone is a truly wonderful addition to the local area. Gritstone not only provides as controlled healthy environment for its members to improve their wellbeing and overall health, but it also provides each individual with a place from home where they feel at ease and are able to confide in their coaches and peers with any of their worries or just for a chat to ease their mind. Gritstone also is an exemplary business within a thriving city that frequently gives back to its glowing community and local residents. Charity events and fundraisers are a common occurrence and the positive values held by the establishment are instilled in each and every member, which only enhances their lives and the lives of its surrounding community. Overall, I find it impossible how anyone can say a genuine bad word about such delightful place.

Such a fanatic welcoming place. I'm not a traditional "gym goer" and the coaches here could not have done more to help and welcome me in. The box is full of friendly people all supporting one another and is super encouraging for new members. I personally have 2 small children and the gym has been a great place that understands family life and allows me to peruse a healthy lifestyle while balancing my demands as a mum. The coaches are very encouraging and knowledgable - ensuring everyone can get the maximum outcome for their own scaled skill level in a safe and productive way. A great place for all.
