I can not tell how helpful, professional and attentive all staff and doctors were. We struggle with help at our old clinic but here, within 3 days we were seen, checked, assessed and everything sorted- basically instant. Thank you so much to all reception staff and especially Doc S.Mansfield. Can not recommend this clinic enough
This is the best GP practice I have ever been registered with. Everyone goes above and beyond. I also don't personally know anyone who gets the kind of care and service this practice gives.
We have always received considerate and helpful attention by all members at the practise in the 42 years we have been registered there.
Absolutely amazing service, always promptly answer, fantastic GP's, Nurses and helpful receptionists.
Ive been with this practice for 4 years, when i moved i to the area. Dr Mansfield is brilliant, amazing GP. As for the receptionist’s utterly disgusted by their attitude, when you work in customer facing environment you can’t be like that. Not helpful, thinking they know everything, rude, Slightly abrupt manner, They need to go on customer service courses or sacking.
Excellent general practice particularly in these covid times which must impose great pressures on those within. I have always been treated promptly with courtesy and helpfulness. My Doctor has given me full consideration and professional advice which has been effective. Thank you to each and everyone of you in this exceptional small practice that makes me feel like a human being.
Abysmal receptionist, bad attitude and no empathy at all. After having been at the surgery the majority of my life, I was granted with absolutely no helpful suggestions at all, just attitude..which stank. This has or rather "had" been my families medical centre for 20 plus years! The doctors are incredible and I have a rapport with them, however this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Overall we was very happy with the experience given over the years. All of my partners family have used them for 20 + years. Dr Leach & Dr Mansfield has been absolutely brilliant with my 2 children & my partner. The support offered for the last few years to my missus has truly been amazing. Dr Mansfield has gone above & beyond for her. You would have 5 stars for Doctor / Patient care, but your ways of discontinuing your patients is really shocking, no letters as you would expect. Claimed to have called though, no voicemail! Only 1 mobile number attempted from 3 numbers available I understand that catchment areas have become an issue, but we moved nearly 4 years ago to the edge of Astley Village 1.6 Miles from the medical centre, we was informed they updated their systems which currently had no record of myself, my partner or my daughter, but still has our son listed? Really, we should have been told with a pre-notification of any changes, so we had to time to deal with this properly. Instead this has been dealt with in the worst unprofessional way with total disregard for the patients, bear in mind that my partner is still receiving ongoing treatment, also ongoing operations. Considering they are the main support for my partner's severe ongoing illness & physical problems, you should be able to advise & recommend another doctors or medical centre, not just by dumping your patients as its not the way the practice should move forward, its embarrassing to treat patients this way without any apology, but also gutting at the same time as the 2 Doctors are really good.
I went down to Euxton medical Center for for a session of physio But I couldn't find the place. I arrived 45 minutes late because there was no signs letting me know where it was so when I spoke with a physiotherapist and explained the reason for my lack of punctuality he fully agreed with me.but before that happened I was informed that the centre was in the grounds of the euxton park hospital so I asked the hospital staff am I in the right place for euxton medical centre she said no your not so I asked her where is the euxton medical centre is it was a mile away left out of the gates up to the second set of trafficl lights staying on the left side next to the pharmacy opposite a pub. so I got there only to find out that this bloody center had moved so I went in to this big showroom place.of bathroom shower sinks and asked a lady why is this euxton medical centre is its across the road that building there she said. okay thanks so I arrived and told the receptionist that this I first phoned the place because the 109 bus had just left the bus station and had to wait 20 minutes for the next one arrives so when finally arrived at euxton medical centre I informed the receptionist that this place it is inadequately sign posted and i said that you need the manager to get someone to place signs from the railway station to the centre and a sign posted in the direction of the front door entrance. i said that in my employment am in contact with the CQC she replied there is a sign out front of the centre I said there is not I've passed this building twice now so after being not able to see the sign post and not the physio treatment when the physiotherapist said we can't see you now there are another appointment to see I came for in the first place . Pxxxed off and in some degree of pain in my right side blown about in this 60 mile a hour wind and torrential rain and wasteing my bloody time.I went out side took some photos for evidence she was correct there is dirty old sign post in white and black but it showing where the old center was and not the new one so in all yesterday was a waste of my time and and in pain blown about getting very angry and very wet spent £5 in getting there for my Sciatica side pains treatment that never was to happen so I want a apology of the centre for the dreadful inconvenience you lot caused me yesterday and to rebook a appointment in Chorley not Euxton . Euxton medical centrei gets a inadequate for the lack of sign post markings from me and CQC will look out for on there visit to the euxton medical cantorren't find centre by the way in torrential rains and I was blown about in the 60 mile a hour winds 1 out 5 inadequate drastic needs more sign posts so people that don't live in euxton can find it easier than I did not good enough. EUXTON MEDICAL CENTER IS YOU GO AROUND THE ROUNDOUT FROM THE RAILWAY STATION ON YOUR RIGHT SIDE KEEP GOING DOWN THE DIP PAST THE 1ST SET OF TRAFFIC LIGHT SYSTEM THE LACK OF SIGNED CENTRE IS ON YOUR LEFT SIDE OPPOSITE SIDE OF A SHOWROOM SALEING BATHS SHOWERS SINKS TOLIETS EUXTON MEDICAL CENTER GETS A RED MARK 1 SCORE
Let down by the appointment system. The practice opens at 8am and the only option available is to frantically attempt to get through repeatedly on the phone. I tried this morning, finally got through at 8.20 by which point all appointments were gone. The reception staff are sometimes unhelpful and dismissive. This is a shame because both doctors are fantastic but getting to see them is a real issue.
