Had the full cover, which made the process very quick and straight-forward. Car received was an upgrade on what we booked. The staff were professional and courteous. The £100 holding amount was refunded automatically after 72 hours. Thank you, we will return soon.

Sent the wrong sized car and transmission type. You can’t phone the branch directly and the call centre is nothing but useless. Don’t bother wasting your time with these guys, they don’t have any type of customer service or care about the customer at all.

Was a really pleasant experience first time I had rented a car so was a bit apprehensive. Hopefully i won't need a car again but if i do I will be back. Proper job impressed

Guys in Truro branch were excellent !!!!  Europcar contact system is appalling though. You can only get hold of someone in their call centre after hours on hold. Only needed simple things which the branch would have been able to sort instantly if you could call direct.  Collection by Peterborough branch is always corrupt. Second time they have now overcharged me for fuel despite the car being left full to the brim.

Got charged 4 days instead of 2 for a car rental after they didnt actually tell us the office would be closed and just charged us the time until they were there again. Had to fight to get the money back, appalling customer services on the general Europcar telephone number. When I explained to the lady that I couldnt understand her accent she just shouted loudly at me.  I havent experienced such rude customer services in a long time. The dispute was raised, nothing else was heard but a rebate for the incorrect charge was just deposited back into our account. Absolutely disgraceful service. Real shame as the guys in the office are very nice, and the cars and actual rental service is pretty good. After this horrendous experience sadly wont be touching them again with a barge pole and will find an alternative car rental company now.
