Collected a pre booked car today. The offices were neat and tidy. The staff member at reception Mike was very friendly with a great sense of humour. He was very helpful and explained everything in detail.nnWe were shown the car by another friendly member of staff who was equally informative and friendly.nnThe car was excellent and suits our needs.nnHighly recommendednnThank you.
Very poor customer service, staff were not at all helpful or friendly. Vehicle was damaged and not recorded on collection form which delayed me. The vehicle was not fully cleaned. The wipers did not work correctly and should have been checked before hiring which was dangerous. Staff were uninterested. I filled the vehicle with fuel before returning and unhelpful staff said it was not full I had to return to fuel station and try and get more fuel in which was not possible apart from 1.5 litres went back and staff said it was still not full. When I worked out the mileage I had done against the fuel used the van only done 24.17 miles to the gallon, this seems somewhat dubious. I would recommend using another hire company that value their customer and not try to make an extra few quid on the hire charge. AVOID
I paid my van online. When I get to the branch Ipswich branch the car wasn’t ready, staff had to locate it using the key as it was behind another van. Staff didn’t check the car with me to ensure safety, he said take a video for your records. When I left th premises , within 10 minutes the tyre had a punch, total damaged, no spare wheel, tried to call the branch several times, no one picked the phone. I called customer services , they directed me to AA . I waited for AA from 11:30 until 7pm. Was supposed to pick my mum from the airport. I had to book a taxi from Heathrow to Ipswich. Very poor services. Was my first time to use their services. Very disappointed. Please don’t use this company. Extremely poor. Will also post on facebook to alert people.nAlso there was insufficient oil.nBelow is the massage I received from customer services . This was not true as I was recovered and the van was dropped to the station,and have I proof from AA. If there don’t give my money back, will take it to watchdog, I have all the evidence.nnAfter an internal investigation with our station in Ipswich, I can confirm that as you have refused to wait for the breakdown team to arrive and drove the vehicle back to the station with the punctured tyre, that caused more damage to the vehicle, we would not be able to process a refund.
Mike at Europcar was great and helpful. I went in wanting to rent a Nissan Quashqai, manual. Because that's all I know how to drive. I got there, they did not have it. They only had automatic cars. I was given an automatic MG HS for the same price I would have rented the Nissan.nnI was nervous/anxious to drive an automatic car for 3 hours with my daughters in the back. But Mike reassured me that I would be fine, helped me understand the various car controls before my journey, and gave me tips on how to drive an automatic car.nnThe car was clean and looked fancy :DnnI drove to Stoke-On-Trent and back and loved it. The car driving experience was smooth and I returned it with no issues. Everything went well.
Very reasonable pricing. Easy collection and drop off. Need some warning up front that you need your National insurance number as well as driving license.
