All good even though I only required the van for the morning. Nice and easy to book and pick up with friendly staff along the way. One gripe however.... I have been in customer service for over 25 years and don't appreciate being phoned up telling me I need to leave a review !!!!! This is something I will choose to do should I feel it warrants it. This could be deemed as a harassment call in order to gain google reviews etc. Just let customers decide themselves. Thank you.
Everything was perfect until I handed the car back and asked how long it would take to return my deposit. I was told 10 working days, which I think is unacceptable. So far after 2 days I have not received it.
Booked on line the night before and picked van up at 8am, a very quick, friendly and efficient handover and also return. Very good value hire and would certainly hire again. Van was clean and full of fuel.
I payed in full on the day of collection my bank showed transaction then I returned the car 2weeks later ontime... They have taken another payment for the same car AGAIN.. Iv called europcar to sort this out and was told to contact my bank. Which can't do anything until payment has gone then they will challenge. Leaving me overdrawn by a large amount. Why should myself and my children go without for their mistakes or was it a mistake??? I will NEVER use or RECOMMEND them to anyone. Thrying to get my money back has been so hard and I still haven't got MY money back almost 1weeks after returning the vehicle. This is disgusting.
The staff at this Derby branch are exceptionally kind and professional and understand what the hire car driver needs to drive and needs to know. Exceptional service here.
After the stress of having my vehicle stolen and being messed around by my insurers Sally-Anne, Lloyd and Europcar gave me the most amazing, expeditious caring service you guys deserve 10 stars, thank you
Excellent service start to finish, everything explained, spotless vehicle with quick handover
After my first experience of Europcar, I decided to make another 2 bookings. Unfortunately due to rising fuel prices and a change in circumstances we decided to cancel the bookings, however, ‘Lud’ at the Derby branch was amazing, friendly, cooperative, supportive, not dismissive at all and made me feel comfortable, rather than guilty for cancelling. ‘Lud’ has now dealt with me 3 times and she is fabulous. Brian is also a great colleague. Both deliver a fantastic customer service. would recommend.
Lute was an absolute Superstar at Europcar Derby. Awesome customer service after a mistake on my part. Bubbly, courteous, extremely helpful. Had a different bad experience with a Customer Service operator on the Europcar Customer Service line. He was lecturing and very unhelpful. I admitted my mistake immediately and just wanted to check if the car was being still held for me and was fine to have been charged the No Show fee if not. He refused to check with the branch or put me through to do so. Definitely in the wrong job. I had to get my elderly Mother to drive me into Derby to find out whether I'd forfeited the car as a No-show or not. Fortunately, Lute saved the day. Well Done, Lute!
Friendly staff. Quality clean vehicle. Easy to take possession of car. Easy return of car.
