Just took my car in for a service & routine body & paint check. In honesty it's £200 for an oil change & a quick look over the paintwork, but compared to some of the big German brands that's relatively cheap. All work appears to have been completed OK. They have direction arrows on the floor, clearly marking the path in & out of the dealership and also indicating safe distances, for those of us that still don’t know what 2 meters looks like. There are screens set up in front of the staff and some were also wearing masks. My key fob was sanitised in front of me before being returned and the staff member was very polite. Part of the service used to include a mini valet, this seems to have stopped during the pandemic. I do feel that the vehicle could still be washed externally and as that's not the case then the service prices should be slightly reduced, reflecting this loss of service. On today's service I would recommend this dealer. Update; Just brought our car in for a while you wait recall inspection. Comfortable chairs in the lounge waiting area with drinks machine nearby. Toilets were clean.
I took my car in for some work under warranty and took it in a day early by mistake. They managed to look at my car that afternoon Thursday and phoned me Friday morning to say the gearbox had been stripped and they know the issue, just waiting for approval from Cinch, brilliant. I was told I would be called either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning to confirm the approval, that just didn’t happen. So I called first thing Monday and couldn’t get through on the phone. Then tried Monday afternoon and the same again. Called the sales team and they transferred me through, but I was cut off again with no answer. Finally got a call Tuesday morning saying that it was all approved and the work would be carried out today and be ready to collect the same afternoon. Surprisingly I didn’t get a call Tuesday and couldn’t get in touch because the phone lines are useless and you can’t even call the department. The car was ready for collection Wednesday morning but I was boarding a plane so couldn’t collect it until Saturday morning. 3 days after the car had been ready for collection, I got told on arrival that my invoice wasn’t ready as it was a split claim between Ford and Cinch which didn’t bother me at the time as they took my details and said it will be sent in the post. Fast forward 2 weeks and no invoice so I get on to the live chat and they say they will give me a call back, 2 weeks after that and still no call and no invoice! I’ve previously worked on the service department at a main dealer and I would’ve been shamed at the level of customer service I’ve received here, simply not good enough. Seems as though the problem was sorted, whatever was actually done on the car, I guess I’ll find out when I eventually get an invoice..
From the booking to reception staff i found them to be very helpful and friendly, i received a free health check video by e mail and the work was done in very good time. On collection the payment was quite reasonable and the reception staff friendly and personable. I have always used this service and will again i recommend this company and their staff.
Sales Executive Zachary at Rayleigh was an absolute pleasure to deal with. My second car purchased through him. Extremely helpful, polite and goes above what is expected of him. The whole team in the Sales office were welcoming. A great experience from start to finish. Thank you!
The repair on my car was done promptly with no questions asked regarding the warranty. I was given a courtesy car which was a 1 year old Puma and lovely to drive. The people I spoke to were courteous and friendly. I cannot fault the service I was given.
The whole experience was great. Easy online check in a couple days before which made it a quick drop off on the day itself. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I have used Ford for my M.O.T and Service since buying my car and I will defiantly continue to do so going forward. Highly Recommended!
Very friendly lady on my arrival at 8.30. She advised me that the car would be ready in about 1 hour and would call me. I took the bus into the Town Centre to pass the time. I then got a call at 9.40 to advise me that it was ready. On my arrival to collect the car a different lady was just as helpful, and I was on my way home by 9.50. The job was to replace a faulty reversing sensor. Always recommend.
Kept updated while my car was in for a warranty fault locate & repair. They supplied me with a hire vehicle for the duration of 3 weeks which was helpful. Only negative was when trying to call the phone rings out and then you get an answer phone message to leave your details & number for a call back, called about 5 times! Eventually I did get a called back.. However, I would recommend and use their services again.
No fuss, No flannel and professional friendly salesperson. I wanted a newer low mileage part exchange deal and I was guided from start to finish without the sales pitch in your face approach. My knowledge of motors is limited but again I was guided not falsed. I can recommend this showroom. Thank you
