"We are the largest college in east London, formed by a merger in 2016 of Hackney Community College with Tower Hamlets College and then in spring 2017 with Redbridge College. I worked so hard for my GCSE English only for a member of staff to mess it up for me . I was given the wrong finish time which was put on the board so I could watvh the clock and the finish time to make sure I finish my exam on time. This member of staff which I will not name him because I do like him. He put the wrong time on the board then later realised it was wrong and told me to stop my work so I had to stop and didn't get to write my story worth 40 marks. I reported it to staff they did nothing about it its now 4 oct 2022 I must say don't recommend this college to your children or anyone they messed up my exams by putting the wrong time and gave me low marks when it wasn't my fault. They didn't apologise or fix the issue I am very frustrated at this because I worked so hard to make sure I finish my work all of it on time.
They offer quality education in a very good facility. The students are generally calmer than their compatriots elsewhere.
If I could give Epping Forest New City College zero stars I would. The treatment the Learning Support team gave my son was awful. Do not send your teenager here and expect any support from them. Only interested in funding and covering their backs.
We were only interested in law, but on our visit we saw plenty of different careers avaliable. First impressions very good.
I was bullied by a blatant racist work colleague called Natalie Clements aka Karen. I made a complaint and nothing was ever done. Bullying and discrimination isn't taken seriously at Epping College. She would also speak badly and gossip about customers who came in for treatments not very professional at all.
I think it's been like 20 plus years now since last I studied at Epping forest college, overall my experience was good I mean I applied at alot of other colleges but none of them gave me a chance or opportunity and when I went into Epping forest college I explained my situation at that time and spent 3 years studying which I enjoyed and passed , Think it was in 2002 lol going waaaay back , Thanks for giving me a chance and hope when other colleges closed there doors on me .

Terrible college to study at. The staff blatantly disregard their students by failing to notify them when teachers are not bothered to show up. This means they are wasting time and money travelling to college only to find they have no lesson running at all. Many students could have used this time to work an extra shift, as many have part time jobs, instead they are losing potential money so the college can appear as though it’s attendance rate is high. On multiple occasions students are left waiting over an hour before any member of staff acknowledges the situation, by which point there is nothing to be done except revision that could be easily carried out off the premises. This shows the incredible lack of respect staff carry for their students.
A very modern college that supports its students to the best of its ability. I take 3D, photography and English Literature here. Never had such a good experience with helpful teachers that not only support you, but show you ways to achieve at your highest potential. Would 100% recommend to those wanting to go to a college in the area.
