Visited this during my stay in Glasgow for an international conference. Loved the modern art forms. It's free entry.
This is a place where I can stay all day long and won't be bored. It gives me such sense of being. Very artful and encouraging! Whenever I become a little sad or nervous, I visit here. It is very important place for me.
Art gallery in an impressive building on Queen Street in Glasgow. A cafe and library are situated in the basement.
A low-key, controversial, and whimsical exhibit. Most are fixated on the the free standing statue outside Duke of Wellington with his pylon hat. Upside: Free entrance, VERY friendly and helpful staff. Downside: Lack of art exhibits. worth no more than 30 minute visit.
Visited on 09 December 2018. I had forgotten to write down the tour times but the staff was very kind and accommodating. I got a free private tour! Great place to visit. A shining example of how something with a dark history can be used to improve the future even though it looks nothing like what it did.
Lovely old building. Inside is the Art - which will be very subjective - luckily "You don't have to like it all". In the basement is a full-function public library and coffee bar. Well recommended for a 5-50 minutes, depending on your interest. Like all other Glasgow Museums, this is FREE.
Not the biggest collection but still a lovely space!! It's also entry by donation which is great and there's a cafe downstairs too! Beautiful stained glass windows!!!!
Nice and beautiful place to visit on a Glasgow tour. Free entry with library and cafe downstairs. Beautiful in and out
Lovely place to visit, There's a good library downstairs to have a sit and read on a rainy day. I spent a very relaxing evening here with my family.
