Absolutely excellent service from the beginning till end. Staff absolutely brilliant I couldn’t find parking in the area the guy who was on reception was really nice and explained me where is possible to stay. I was taken on time as appointment has been booked. The lady who was dealing with my request of passport was so friendly and professional with anything I asked. everything takes only 15min and I was out. Really good experience with service!
WHAT A JOKE! Not answering emails, website really hard to navigate and has ZERO information, impossible to talk anyone on the phone and if you do get a chance to speak to the reception by pressing random numbers in the phone menu, you will be given zero information or phone numbers with German speaking automatic machine or phone numbers that don't exist. Went to register to vote in the CZ presidential elections in the UK because I am unable to fly to Czechia to vote. It took about 20 different papers I had to fill by hand to get registered. I've been then told I have to use Royal Mail to get my voting ID because they don't know when I would be able to pick it up in person. Went for the Royal Mail option and obviously they sent my voting ID to my Czech address in Prague. Am I able to ring them about this to get my voting ID so that I am able to vote? NOPE.
Extremely bureaucratic establishment! Non existent phone/online service. Not to mention their limited office hours. Simple issues taking ages to resolve.
Went to get VISA for my boyfriend, everybody was sooo lovely. First time at any embassy and I had this idealistic image in my head, that embassy is here to help people, which was confirmed after this visit. Thank you so much for your help such welcoming and warm staff
Went twice in 2 years and on both occasions all staff extremely helpful and professional, lovely atmosphere, response to email queries was prompt.

The place is wonderful. They speak both Czech and English. Very friendly and efficient. Waiting time is not excessive or unbearable, but the old-style Czech bureaucracy or red tape is live and kicking. If you're prepared to stomach that, it is worthwhile for the tourist experience once you get to visit the country.
I needed to change an expired passport , I wrote an email to book an appointment, within an hour I got reply with the confirmation date and time. On the actual appointment I was seen immediately. Ten minutes later I was out as everything has been done. The passport has been issued exactly after 4 weeks so super quickly Nice, polite and friendly staff. Don’t really understand to the lows ratings as it’s nonsense.
It was my third visit to the embassy in about 10 years and as before it went well and smoothly. Arranged appointment for new passport old lost by email. Embassy took two weeks to answer my email but it was expected in the difficult times of current situation with pandemic. Straight in after arrival, all staff was polite and pleasant. Shame I didn't take the name of staff who assisted me - helpful, so I could give her a nice compliment here. People expect too much and therefore low rating from some. It's embassy, not a hotel or entertaining organisation to expect huge smiles and warm welcomes
Sure there is space for improvements but if you follow the instructions and actually read what they say you will get exactly what you were told. Does it take long to make some documents? Yes and they would always give you a worse scenario estimate - I usually got everything much faster. Do you expect "meet & greet" of 6* hotel Where you pay not little money for it? Then forget it, their job is not fun to deal with frustrated people leaving everything to the last minute and hoping for miracles. Yet they were always polite, friendly and always helpful. With attitude of some people going there for whatever reason I actually admire their patience with them. Do you know what is the booking system for? I am sure it is not to come late. Yes it takes me some time to get there as I am not from London, but with a little bit of planning and making some time reserve you never know what can go wrong it is fairly easy to make it in timely manners. As to communication I must admit I don't really have any experience via phone - I always use email and I always get the answer. Not always straight away but again you usually get auto-reply which gives you an estimate.
