I wouldn't go to Ely just for this but I'd be awfully sad if I went there and didn't occasionally pop in. Mostly it's local interest but its well laid out and thoughtfully presented. Worth a visit.

Small museum with a good collection of items ranging from fossils, through the roman period to more modern times. There is a small shop and toilet facilities. Worth visiting once if it's a rainy day but not enough there to warrant a return visit.

Great place to visit, the museum have loads of history things to know about it, the staff is very friendly, they have a souvenir shop there as well. My son (5 years old), love they art and craft sessions and he really enjoyed the 2 visits of the museum.

Really nice museum about Ely and the surrounding areas. Great place for kids as it has an explorer's outfit for children to don as they explore the museum and it's many touchable, wearable exihibits.

Very interesting place only £4.50 entrance lots of history facts, and you can pick up and feel the weight of a woolly mamouth tooth awesome. Spent a couple of hours here and would return again.
