We had a family meal here yesterday: a glorious setting and a comfortable and clean restaurant. Lots of tables inside and out but not overcrowded. Atmosphere is gentle and you can enjoy your beer or coffee in armchairs around a log fire on cooler days. The staff were all cheerful and helpful and efficient. The food was fabulous! Good quality food with a lot of local ingredients, very well cooked and with just a small twist here and there to well-known recipes to make them even more delicious. (Husband's burger came with bacon jam and my mushroom risotto had pomegranate in it --delicious). Visit the Elveden Estate shops and fantastic Deli before you leave the area.

This quaint lodge/bar was lovely!! The restaurant was clean, spacious, and fully enjoyable - from the interior to the garden. Lots of parking. Menu was delectable! Hard to choose one thing! Our large group had multiple servers assisting us and every employee was very pleasant. Will definitely come back when visiting the area. Not a far drive from RAF Lakenheath - quite a pretty drive

Food very good. Female bar staff unfriendly but last weeks young chap more welcoming. Please can you start serving Gin in large fancy glasses instead of tumblers. Most establishments make an effort with range & garnishes for Gins. A choice of make of tonic would be good too.

Travelled to Elveden Inn yesterday, Sunday 22nd, from the Norfolk coast, to meet up for a family celebration. The place itself was lovely and the staff very friendly however we’d all viewed the menu on line before hand which looked great but it was extremely disappointing to discover on arrival that this was not available, no fish, no salad, not really anything on from the on line menu available. I chose the Mushroom Curry in the end which certainly wasn’t worth going out of the way for! Disappointed too with the desserts, no fresh fruit and the lemon meringue pie was just a poorly made tart. We’ve decided no more visits which is a pity as it’s such a nice location.

Food tasty n well presented. Gluten free also on menu. Staff fab couldn't do enough. With a group of 27. Food pre-ordered but accommodated a couple of changes with no fuss.
