The Bell Hotel is a very interesting building, the architecture is very spread out but each section feels dedicated to its reason for being there. The bar is pleasant and has a rustic feel, there's an offshoot dining area. The reception leads to toilets and conference rooms with the stairs providing access to the hotel rooms. At the back of the building is the main dining area. All the staff appear pleasant and willing to provide help. Certainly a reasonable place to stay and right by the river.

This once nice hotel is now a bit dated and in need of some TLC. The rooms are a nice size and have very comfortable beds, but the plumbing and bathroom facilities need a big upgrade to bring them up to modern standards. Our toilet broke twice in one day failing to flush. We had an inclusive breakfast, but due to a leak from the plumbing all cooked breakfasts where off. This left us with cereals and pastries, which were nice, but a big disappointment.The coffee was cold. Had this been my first stay here I would not return. However, the last time I was here was a much better experience. Can't fault the staff, they are friendly and helpful. We may be back in future and hope to see improvement.

Central location, nice sized rooms. A bit dated and the breakfast wasn't fabulous. Overall a decent place for an overnight stay.
