Perfect place for all the family to have fun and even relax. I doesn't matter if its sunny or snowing. A season pass is highly recommended as it saves a lot on parking, some people think the hourly / daily charges for park are too much but it's a small price to pay for a clean, well kept place for the kids to have fun. Even though dogs are allowed I've never seen any dog mess EVER and that's saying something.

Really great place to spend a day just playing in the woods and on the various musical instruments hidden around. We took bikes and rode all over - it's well signposted. We also went to Go-Ape too which is awesome fun and the kids loved it. The play areas are great too. Cafe serves cafe style food (not tried so can't comment on) and OK coffee and tea - service is very slow.... prices aren't cheap but aren't too high either. Parking is included in the entry fee which is £2.20 per hour or max £11.50 all day. Would definitely recommend for a day out with kids.

Full day out. Plenty to do. Go Ape was great. BBQ area handy. Plenty of walks and trails to keep you entertained. Great outdoor space for families.

Visited on the first warmish Sunday of the year. Really busy - we had to use one of the overflow car parks. There were people everywhere there was a great atmosphere. Fantastic range of facilities, we hired a child's bike and a adult bike, the guy working in the yard sorting the cycles out was exceptional huge patience and understanding. We went for a ride in the forest, once away from the throng the silence of the wood was wonderfull. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. THE PLACE IS EXPENSIVE. The bikes were £18 for an hour. The car park was £ 7.50. Slightly soured the fun for the wallet holder.

Amazing day out. Had loads of fun with my 4 year old. Although I do think the amount of children on certain play areas should be monitored at least as I saw quite a few accidents on them. And parking is rather expensive. However lots to do and lots to see so all in all way a lovely day out.
