I called at 8.30am and I was 20th in the queue! I thought I would have no chance but held on and I got to talk to reception eventually. I was assured a doctor would call me back. When she did, we discussed my symptoms and I was invited to the practice that afternoon. I first saw a nurse who ran some tests, then talked to a doctor to discuss the outcome. This is the way the triage system should work. I was delighted that I was being taken seriously and with kindness. 10/10 for the receptionists, nurses and doctors I dealt with today. I cannot praise them enough.
This practice is absolutely the worst. They made an appointment for my wife for an injection and then suddenly removed her from the list. They even cannot give us any options on what we can do as my wife is a cancer patient and the injection has been delayed. The staff are also not compassionate.
Absolutely useless! Someone can't walk and is in extreme pain and they have to wait 1 month for an appointment!
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!nI had a BOOKED phone call appointment and they did not call so I phoned and waited in the huge queue and when I finally got through the male receptionist answered and told me I did not have that appointment booked and that it was in a months time. I wasn’t happy about this as I double checked that my appointment was correct at the time and even wrote it down so I don’t know how this was possible but the receptionist was completely robotic and didn’t care either so he just said no bye. I wish I never moved here!!!! Do not go here unless you want to deal with this rubbish. I wish I had stayed with my old doctors.nThe last time I had an issue the lady receptionist also told me that In a few days time my prescription would be at my pharmacy and I went 4 days in a row and no sign of it! Turns out it never got sent….. and no one told me
My grandaughter couldn't get an answer on the phone, so she went down to the surgery to get strong painkillers. They're not what she normally gets She was told she would get a phone consultation on 25/5. She said why she needed them and told her to phone 111 after 6pm. I took her to A&E at 9.15pm last night and we got home at 4.35am, just to get a box of tablets!!!!! The service at Elmbank is absolutely shocking. I would have given no stars if I could.
