Scum bags. In 2017 I ordered a Chicken Shiah and they gave me the worst food poisoning I had ever received. 7 days completely out of the game. Constantly sick, diarrhoea, sweating, insane stomach cramps and couldn’t do anything but sleep. They almost KILLED ME, I should have went to hospital. Potentially race related so if you are a white English male do not eat here. I had never been poisoned so bad. If any solicitors see this and want to help me take them to court I am more than happy to attend. I have witnesses and something should be done. I hope the shop burns to the ground.
Best takeaway I’ve had in a long long time. Food and service was great and me and my partner really enjoyed it, their chicken doner kebab is what I recommend!

This was for Jan 2022. If you edit review, it puts that date! Lentil soup very good & extras with it. I'm doing a comparison in difrent restaurants, but now making my own! Manager had no problem serving us proseco from M&S next door, I had with me.. The only query was, apparently waiter should inform you before you sit down, that there will be a service charge, so we had no idea. This review was for the Turkish restaurant, EFEZADE Mezze Grill. at other end of The Broadway! Google has muddled em up, sure I didn't. Or did I?both begin with an 'E'! Unable to edit the name... ELKAZ Taverna... Same as many kebab places... Kebabs good, bigger pcs of lamb please! Better have the large one next time. Friendly service & plenty of salad.. Very nutritious & balanced too! Deliver & take cash... Hmm prices gone up!
Avoid at all costs, danger of food poisoning. We recently moved nearby and have been twice. First time the hummus was old and tasted very off, this time the rice served with the kebab was at least 2 days old and had a terrible smell. On top of this, they killed the meat by cooking the shish on the grill for far too long. The person on the phone could not really speak English and did not know what any of the products were. This is a shame, because the son of the owners is a really nice and personable chap, but this is one of the worst kebab joints I have been to. The pizzas are pretty ordinary too, but at least they seem to be hygienic unlike the rest of the food.
We went in for some kebabs and a burger and chips. The guy didn't do our chips so 2 meals are only half plus the large kebab meat and chips were quite small. Plus we got home in 5 mins but the food was not even luke warm.
A bit disappointed. Garlic bread with cheese was some dried out cold french bread with cheese, garlic and bizarrely a hint of lemon. It was awful. Large lamb shish could have been nice but there was no effort. Choices were pitta or wrap no flat bread or naan - I would have preferred either of these. I chose a pitta but none of the food was put inside the pitta. Everything was piled on top of the pitta including the sauce so basically it was a complete mess. A real shame as the meat, sauce and salad were nice but it was a complete mess and I'm sorry it was just lazy.
Good grub! Reasonably priced. Nice guys. Husband says they are a bit sparing with the chilli sauce...but that's only because he loves it so much.
