Dinner for 6 of us last night. The food was good, you won't get better value than the set menu deals. My steak was cooked to perfection. Everything we received was fresh and well presented. You cannot go wrong with the chocolate brownie! The 2 bar staff were brilliant. Friendly, efficient, attentive and constantly busy; whether it be serving customers or cleaning tables.

Great food didn't wait long. Perfect chips. We were served  by Aj great staff

Went to the newly refurbished Plume and Feathers today, for a drink and roast to say I'm disgusted with the roast that where served to us ...! I was too embarrassed to complain the chicken leg and 3 small potatoes and little piece of veg....I will not be going back.  I used to really like the pub.  I have tried to telephone the plume twice also left a message no reply from them??

What happened to the menu? Totally disappointed. I fully understand trying to claw back some money on the dodgy refurbishment but seriously, hunters chicken is now a breaded piece of chicken with cheese and bacon on top. Chicken, bacon, avocado salad is awful, two small strips of chicken, two thumb nail pieces of avocado and fatty rind of bacon. Onion rings dont exist anymore, they are onion fries, supposerly, bits of onion, deep fried and dripping in dirty grease. Spoke to staff who agreed, menu has changed and have had alot of complaints. Was honestly a regular in their but not anymore. Staff are lovely and was honestly embarrassed  ut not surprised when I spoke to them about my concerns.nYou really need to look at this as you will loose alot of custom

Used to come here for Sunday lunch a couple of months ago and it was really good but came here after refurbishment and i don't know what they've done to the Sunday roast dinner but it was horrible where's the beef gone and sliced chicken which used to be so good now replaced with dry tough chicken with bones and the vegetables were horrendous what's happened to the lovely roast dinner we used to get won't be going there again
