I love this place, it is very peaceful and has wonderful nature trails and a stream of water.  The wildlife around is extraordinary, even seen the odd dragonfly.  One of the paths takes you past the horses and they love to eat from your hands, the long bits of grass that grow over the fence. 
 They are amazing gentle giants.  Events happen throughout the year which gets the children involved.  It has a wonderful swing park which is also accommodating for children who use wheelchairs.  I found this to be fantastic and includes children who have different needs.  The cafe is slightly overpriced for your normal working class person, so save if you want to eat there but the food is really good.  Sometimes they have deals on like Tea and a cake so that's good.  Great parking facilities and would highly recommend anyone to visit this beautiful place.

This is a great place for walking with nature be it with family or on your own with the dog(s). It is a big park with a shop and ruins of a castle. Is very peaceful and there are animals to see too. Without a doubt would go bk as me and my family love a good nature trail.

Good place to visit family friendly. Great walks in park. Great cafe and exc activity play area for kids

I come here most days with my dogs, it's an Ideal park for dog walkers...as long as you pick up your poo. Very family friendly with an all abilities play park, The Tournament cafe serves a delicious selection of teas, coffee and snacks.
