Very friendly, easy going, no hassle experience. Water point to fill up campervan. £18 for the night. Nice walk from the site. This is a picture from the entrance. Would definitely return.
Great place to go if you want to get away from it all but still close to lots of activities
Hardly a tourer campsite, more like an expensive car park. Parking on rough ground which even with levelling blocks and blocks of wood still resulted in a very uncomfortable incline. £18 a night, no toilet or showers available, albeit there was an electric hook up. Seemed a bit steep pun intended. Connot recommend it however there was a very nice view if you could see over the hedge and the lady who took our payment was very pleasant.
Visited this site for a nights stay. No one at the reception to inform us of our pitch. So located a spot next to other tourers. Site was less than basic, toilet block was not available but the whole building is needing attention. Had to chase up to pay but to be honest £18 for basically electric hook up was pretty shocking really. Lots of statics on site so I guess these are more catered for than tourers. Wont be back.
It's not a bad site. Mainly statics. We got a place with gorgeous views. Toilets very basic but then we are in a motorhome so don't have to use them. Lovely owner very friendly ideal for a overnight stop which is what we are using it for. Pub within walking distance but it's uphill on the way back
Three days spent here and not once were the toilets or showers cleaned. Would not recommend. This site offers very little for £18 per night. Will definitely not be back.
Amazing views and best sunset ever
Whilst this is a very freindly place with stuning views the toilet block and showers need some attention and more lighting because after dark you carnt see your hand in front of you but i would go again
We pitched up here but after looking at the toilet block we moved on. It's down in an overgrown dip with bushes that need cutting back and needs a lot of TLC. Gravel pitches with hook up but no views.
Home away from home. Peaceful and relaxing with fantastic views! Well kept and maintained site! Love it here
