Sat in the store waiting to collect a product that we can see has been picked and is ready for collection. Ignored by two members of staff, one that decided to put orders away. So we waited ten minutes for a two second job. 3.25pm - I remember customers being quite important when I was a sales assistant ‍.
Slow customer service, I knew what I was getting into when I ordered to Gainsborough store instead of Scunthorpe but I thought I would give them another try as it's been a while. But nope just as slow as ever I'll order to Scunthorpe in future they actually seem to have some drive
Needed to order something but they will not allow dogs despite only nipping in to collect. Can’t leave my dog alone as I am only visiting the area. Shame. Wilko in Marshall’s Yard let dogs in so they’ll get my business.
First impressions aren’t great. Not local to the area but I’m assuming theft is a problem? I really got the impression the customers aren’t trusted to have goods on display? It felt like walking into an empty warehouse or a store closure. Staff were friendly, and service was quick. Good job as we got back in the car and sped off in fear of being robbed joke.
I got a new phone today Motorola E30 doesn't work properly wouldn't recommend buying a phone from argos in Gainsborough as they don't work properly like the Motorola E30 cuts signal automatically even when sim card is in phone
It may be that I have just been fortunate but despite this branch being small compared to most Argos stores, it has thus far always stocked what I have been after. I have also used this as an eBay collection point and have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. There never seems to be too long of a queue either!
Staff outnumbered customs and staff still not proactively wanting to help. Would order online in future as fast track delivery is normally quite good and have never had issues with the drivers although they normally come from Doncaster to deliver!
Terrible Service. Very few staff. Today we had the Manager on the phone so completely ignored the queue of people with their items ready but happily served fast-track customers while still on the phone the minute they arrived....and then attempted to order her member of staff back to the fast-track aisle when she was halfway through backlog of 'normal' customers.
I ordered a Dyson cordless, using the fast track delivery. I asked for delivery the following day, between 10am and 1pm. I was contacted by telephone the following morning, and told that my order would be delivered within half an hour. My order arrived precisely half an hour later. Well done Argos.
I visited this store to collect an order that i couldnt get from where i live so we nipped to here. The staff were so friendly and helpful. To say of the current situation and to say it was chucking it down outside. Well done the tean what was on Sat 24th Oct what a lovely bunch you all are!!!
