Superb value for money, and the helpfulness of the staff at this particular store is above and beyond what I would expect from any store. We'll impressed, I went in twice this week and both times the cheery lady at the front desk greeted me and my wife with a lovely "good morning" and was just all too happy to help. All in all, a decent store. I will be taking my thoughts from Halfords back to my own business and make some improvements. We'll Done!
Just purchased a Boardman Road bike and had some crash damage repaired on my Argon 18 bike from the Gainsborough Branch. The quality of customer service was excellent especially from Sam. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I enjoyed a very pleasant shopping experience here and would fully recommend visiting.
I had head units installed in both my wife's car and my own and the service was excellent!!! The assistant manager Nick in the Gainsborough, went above and beyond to make sure we left very happy customers. He is a credit to the branch.
I had an issue with one of my windscreen wipers that had been replaced earlier, it was too small but had been wrongly listed on Halfords computer as 16” for a Nissan Qashqai, it should be 17” or even 18”, wiper was changed no problem by staff. Just a shame that our local Halfords is being closed next week, forcing all us locals into travelling miles to Lincoln or Scunthorpe.
Do not let these people service your bike. Complete disaster, got a refund after they failed to tighten handlebars and nearly sent me under a car at the first roundabout. Since then peddles have been changed they didn't spot a bad bearing and rear axle has been tightened as they failed to tighten it. I am not sure what skills "Joe" has whose name is on the service record but sadly bike maintenance does not appear to be amongst them. I will stick to local bike shops in future.
Halfords Gainsborough is well known throughout the local community for their high customer service levels. It is a great shame we are to be denied this when the store closes on February 12th. Halfords, please revoke this decision and move to a cheaper premises in Greater Gainsborough!
Brilliant customer service from Stephen this morning. Helpful, knowledgable and even helped carry my adblue to my car. Sad that the Gainsborough branch is closing next week.
Needed some advice on parts to complete a repair. The young man on the counter was very helpful and provided me with all the parts and how to complete the repair on a child’s bike. Thank you.
Cost £15 for less than 2 mins work to remove a dashcam, feels like I have been taken for a right mug but it will cost Halfords because they wont be fitting it in my new car, and I will never buy anything or even go in the store or recommend their services to anyone very poor customer service
Great job replacing my front lamp on my TT - Tom D sorted it for me, All ready for its MOT now.
