Nice architecture, but a bit chaotic in organising traffic between platforms. Luggage storage was expensive imo, paid £15 for 1 bag for 4 hours.
Historical station. Very well organised, managed, and signposted. Easy access and all escalators worked when I was there last time. Take you to many destinations all over the UK. Many shops available at the station too.
Edinburgh Waverley Station is a buzzing hive! Signs everywhere guide you. On our departure day, train hiccups thanks, weather!, but the ticket counter staff swooped in with a backup plan. Super helpful!
Historical central station. From this station you can reach London and other cities and regions of Scotland.
Clean, clean efficient, hospitable, and organized well. The parking can be rather cramped and returning a rental car at the station is like driving through a hamster maze but the signage is accurate. Just take it slow and follow the signs to the rental car return.nnThere are some luggage carts in the garage but more located in the station. You can take a lift/elevator from the garage to the outdoor lot. You have to cross the outdoor lot about 120 yds to the opposite end where there is another lift that takes you up to the station level which then has lifts that lower you to the platform. Luggage cart return is located on each platform near the train doors.
