I have seen a nicer station before - the roofing with the corinthian pillars is pretty strange to me - but the amosphere is good. Vintage train with the bag pipe gentleman was unique.
Nice architecture, but a bit chaotic in organising traffic between platforms. Luggage storage was expensive imo, paid £15 for 1 bag for 4 hours.
Extremely busy. Even busier than the busiest of London main termini. I was travelling at the height of the August holidays and the City's Comedy Fringe Festival time.
The lifts are slow, the escalators are frequently out of action. Very busy in summer. The usual coffee chains, Boots, M&S food and Burger King. Cheap coffee and hot food at Weatherspoons immediately outside.
Inadequate seating available whilst waiting for your train. Also better signage required to direct to accessable routes for less able people. Also food prices ridiculous from some vendors. £7.50 for a pasty on 2024 is outrageous
