I don't think alot of people realize that this is not a square atall.... its a fie-squared-parallelogram . Also it's not a 'Park' its a bloody Tram station. I can only say that the council were VERY optimistic about how many people they would be getting on the trams when they built the stop, anyhoo, quite a nice stop all the same - plenty of room

Not the worst square I have visited, but not the best square either. There are quite a few squares around the world and this is an average square.

We walked through here to see the rest of the Christmas Market after meandering from Prince's Street Gardens to thr gorgeous lights on George Street. The skating rink was set up here and was pretty cool! Mom was a no-go for skating so we didn't go but everyone looked to be having quite a bit of fun--including a penguin sled for the less experienced. Just past the beautiful, wooden Nativity, there was also a very handsome policeman helping his partner hand out Christmas bells that we will hang on our trees at home.
