Edgcumbe Hotel

This is lovely hotel ran by Emma and her team, we come back year on year! The rooms are comfortable, clean and have excellent views (well the one we stay in on the front does at least). The breakfast menu has something for everyone and the quality is top drawer plus the restaurant and bar provide a nice place to chill out and eat/drink in an evening. The restaurant is always busy, even with people not staying at the hotel, which can only be a good sign! Well recommended! 😀

The Edgecumbe Hotel is a truly lovely, family-run little hotel - with hard-working, kind-hearted owners who also live there. The vibe relaxed and all-age young; the view across Summerleaze Beach and the Atlantic waves awe-inspiring; the seaside rooms bright and cozy (some with panoramic bay windows from days of yore)...oh, and their restaurant+bar downstairs happen to be two of the most popular places in Bude to eat and socialize. The family running it all are locals, surfers, environmentally conscious (they don't use plastic) - what else is there to say? Downright some of the most decent folks you could possibly find here...in beautiful, rugged Bude 😊👍❤️

Lovely little place not far from the beach. Cosy and inviting with delicious food choices. We shall return !

There for a family wedding. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Excellent service. Couldn't have made it a better day

Having a great stay here opposite the beach at Bude. Great breakfast views into town, canal and coast. Warm, comfy rooms. Great breakfast from same kitchen as The Deck. Friendly family run hotel with lots to offer.
