1st class place to stay. Owners most welcoming, nice ambience, everything clean. We noticed that the establishment has won various awards. My wife and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Edgcumbe House Hotel again.

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend - it was utterly perfect!!! Carla (the owner) was fantastic - friendly, helpful and welcoming! The rooms are all gorgeous (managed to sneak a peek at other rooms). We stayed in their king size 4-poster room at the rear (room 6), which had recently been refurbished. We had a TV, large shower, tea making facilities and lots of other things to make us feel welcome. The building's location is ideal - literally a 1 minute walk from the sea. Lots of great food venues near by and in close proximity to the Barbican and City Centre. Breakfast was lovely - made to order options included a vegetarian option, which were lovely. Alternately, they provide a continental breakfast bar area with plenty of things to choose from. I've stayed in a few places in Plymouth and this is by far the best - we'll definitely be back!

A very good, dog friendly place to stay. It's convenient to the harbor, but a bit of a walk to get to the city center. There's limited free parking, which is a plus.

Excellent Guest house. Warm welcome by owner. Room spotless, very comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits available in room. Very close to the Hoe. Close to a good pub which offers excellent food. A good Chinese restaurant very close. Breakfast was excellent, good choices even gluten free. Definitely will stay again.

Wonderful B&B in a prime location with a welcoming owner. Quality bedding and products and the best breakfast! Highly recommend the family and the four-poster bedrooms. Hope to return again soon!
