TRY THE LAKSA! It's one of the best you'll ever have! The place is quiet and the food arrives really quick. Staff is friendly. You really have to try the laksa!
This is a nice place for a good Chinese meal. Actually this place shows a Malaysian flag on its window, however all plates are Chinese. And they are pretty good. I'd suggest you to avoid the pick lunch time on Friday since it tends to be very crowded. A part from that, at any other day and time you should easily be able to find a seat. Enjoy!
A little tucked away gem in EC1. Decently priced and the food is actually really, really good! Was surprised when I had ordered Singapore vermicelli noodles with chicken on a whim - was some of the best noodles I've ever had! Another occasion I had the laksa and that was equally as good! Service was quick so there's not much waiting when you're ravenous with hunger. The staff may seem a bit stern, though I frequently have a good chinwag with them when I'm there. If you're after no fuss, delicious food then don't hesitate to come here.
This place has really gone downhill over the years. In the past I've really enjoyed their beef ho fun, but today the noodles were narrow and thin, closer to the noodles used in Pad Thai. I asked the waitress about it, and she said they now use dehydrated ones. I also dislike them using plastic cups for water, instead of glass, especially as they used to have glasses for water.
Very authentic tasting Malaysian Chinese food. Portion sizes are pretty big and prices are reasonable! Not a place for sitting around for a long time though. It's more a "enjoy the food and leave" kind of restaurant with limited seating and high turnover. TIP: doesn't take card so bring cash!
Tucked away little gem with delicious food and quick service. Make sure you have cash as they don't take card though. The vegetable Laksa is soooooo good, it keeps me going back for more. Not really a lot of seating, but it hasn't really been much of a problem. Great for a quick lunch with colleagues or a relaxed dinner with friends. Just writing this is making my mouth water for a Laksa,,,,,
Great quiet place for an authentic Chinese / chinese Malaysian dishes. One of my faves!
I warmly recommend this place. Spotless clean, very good authentic laksa, delicious dumplings and really nice staff. I would eat here every day. It feels like home.
