The restaurant is very small, seats are tight and normally busy during peak hours, not comfortable if you want to stay and chat with friends. Beef Pho is good but not amazing, the soup in the end tasted like there’s lots of MSG added in so appears to be quite salty. I ordered lemongrass noodle salad also but the sauce didn’t impress me too much unfortunately, definitely tried something better somewhere else
A wonderful dining experience, authentic and affordable Vietnamese pho. My friend and I arrived at the restaurant at noon. The waiters were very friendly and the food was served quickly. The average price per person is around £16.Food: 5/5
I’ve been going to Dragonfly Cafe for almost 3 years now and it’s still my most favourite place to have Vietnamese food. I would highly recommend Bun Hue Vit and Bun Cha Ca. They are the best!!!Recommended dishesNoodles
Really good quick and cheap, hearty and tasty pho. Definitely recommend if you’re in a hurry but want strong flavoursFood: 5/5
A Vietnamese restaurant with high quality of foods and reasonable good prices. There were around 6 tables in the restaurant and the space was quite limited. Our orders came out pretty fast and they smelled really good as well as the taste. The rare beef tender pho was amazing, you could tell that the soup was cooked but not made by powders. And the beef was sliced into proper thickness and as tender as exactly what’s described. Instead of the small and very spicy chilies I’d experienced at other Vietnamese restaurants, their chilies were the large one without seeds. Will definitely visit again if craving for a decent pho soup.
Rapid, friendly and helpful service. Decent portions of really tasty food - a real find. Small and cosy, this is a functional eatery and it does the job very well. Great value for money especially for it's location. Looking forward to going back. 10/10.Food: 5/5
We have always loved Vietnamese food, but this one really takes the prize. This is our go-to Viet food and we just stick with it! We had the Summer Prawn Spring Rolls, which is just very refreshing to have, especially having a long day of walking - it's like preparing your stomach for more good food. The mint in it, really provided that kick of freshness. For the main, we had the Dragonfly Bun Cha - which comes with pork spring rolls and the Bun Ga Nuong both are dry vermicelli noodle. Both are very light, but very filling meals - the type of filling where you don't feel bad being full. The chicken was smoky and tender, whilst complimenting the noodles. The service is top-notch. Very friendly servers, despite being busy. Lastly, the space is cozy albeit small. Can't wait to come back for more! P.S. Their banh mi is LEGENDARY they only serve it on the weekday though sadly :, nevertheless, it is worth the try!
Good value. The spicy pho was yummy! Love both spring roll and the noodle, the restaurant is quite small, not many tables to offer though.Food: 5/5
The food was hot and tasty, really good portions. The menu looked delicious , it was hard to choose, so many nice things. I will definitely come back and try other food besides the pho. A nice and small place, therefore the chairs and tables were small too and there is no toilet for the guests.Food: 5/5
Spicy soup pho is good, and you can add fried dough stick to dip in. Fish cake and brisket are both good choices. I have become a frequent visitor recently.Food: 4/5
