can only speak for the soup dumplings which are AMAZING. fried on the bottom then steamed and pretty big making them appropriately priced in my opinion. the soup and meat filling is flavourful and cooked perfectly. served with a black vinegar and option for chilli which obviously you should get
There is a reason why there is always a queue at DS and Fen, arguably the most popular stalls at Spitalfields Market. They are so consistently high in standard, and despite the queue the wait isn’t long and if it is unusually long, I can promise it’s worth it. Never tried anything that has disappointed, only wish I lived closer!
So happy to find this place as I can eat food that reminds me of home. The wontons are tasty paired with the chilli oil they make the chilli oil themselves, I know because I asked. Beef noodles has good flavour and overall the service is friendly and speedy. Will visit again next time I come down to London!
Oh man, these dumplings are so good. I ran across London to eat them and didn't have a single regret. Staff were super friendly and the food comes quick and hot. The shared dining space was really clean and there was something nice and convivial about everyone coming and going. Well worth a visit
