I rang to double check that we could take the dog in whilst we had a meal ....to be told that they don't have a chef at present so there's no food! Updating your website might have been a good thing to do, don't you think ? I was reading about the gorgeous meals online....

Really great tasting food and friendly staff. My partner and I had a fantastic lunch.

Very disappointed with food, staff and the whole place. Sat down to be told 3 things on the limited menu weren’t available because ‘they were really busy’ the day before. The waitress was polite but clueless about the menu. The menu online says it’s been updated this year but it is nothing like what we were offered. We had to ask for the dessert menu that again was rubbish like the main menu . We were the only ones in the pub which isn’t a surprise as the service was awful myself and my guests felt like we were in the way . Wont be revisiting and will be warning others off. Perhaps a course in customer service would do well .

Good basic pub grub, lovely and hot. Friendly local pub with some holiday trade. Seating in decking at the front, a good sun spot.

Lovely country pub. Limited beer options but the pint of Madri whilst watching the sun set was excellent.

Stopped off here this evening for a quick bite to eat and a quick drink… great quality food at very reasonable prices.. sat on the deck and watched the sunset.. we will be returning on our next visit..

Good roast dinner with a lovely selection of vegetables... when we visited we had undercooked carrots, but didn't detract from the overall meal

Fabulous meals. Homemade cream of chicken soup was excellent as was all our food ordered today. We were very jealous of the size of the homemade pavlova on the next table would love to have tried but just too full up. Also the care and attention given to our dogs was wonderful, will visit again next time we are up visiting our mum. We  give 5 *s

We stopped for Sunday lunch while camping in the area.  We hadn't booked but were made to feel very welcome despite having 4 children with us.  We all had roast dinners.  They were fantastic!  Everything was well seasoned and VERY tasty.  I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it...  would thoroughly recommend!

First impressions weren't good as we approached by car, the place looks a little run down and the smokers area placement outside the front door wasn't helping. Once inside, the staff were very friendly and patient. This was while dealing with a Coeliac, a vegan, two vegetarians and gaggle of 7-10year old chatterboxes. The food was great, all as ordered and decent size portions. An allergens list for their food would have really helped put minds at ease whilst ordering. All in all, a good place to eat and worth a visit.
