East Riding Leisure Bridlington is home of Splash Zone the best value fun pool on the East Coast. The centre is also home to sport and fitness in the town.

Story

The new £25 million East Riding Leisure Bridlington is now open. The centre features a 25 metre six-lane swimming pool with learner pool; a Splash Zone pool with fun slides and waterplay features; the amazing Clip n’Climb; and spaces for parties – not forgetting the café/ coffee shop with spectacular views of the bay.

The centre has a superb range of sports and leisure activities under one roof, and offer accessible health and fitness facilities for local residents and visitors to the town. The new Centre has made a huge contribution to the regeneration of Bridlington town centre, situated in an unrivalled position on the seafront, with superb views for customers across Bridlington bay to Flamborough Head. The development of East Riding Leisure Bridlington has been funded by East Riding of Yorkshire Council (£20.9 million); the Coastal Communities Fund (£2.1m); and Sport England (£2m).

Absolutely fantastic spot for the family.nMy girls love the splash zone, the main pool is a good size and the slides are great. They limit the numbers so booking is a really good idea.nBut that means the queues are never too long and it's never too crowded.nnThe staff have always been super helpful, the lads today were brilliant with the girls and very supportive given how busy it was too.nIt was lovely and clean and I was so glad we got in - I only hopped online to check the swim availability- even if it was a bit last min I thought I'd give it a chance,. It's such an easy system to use.nNo swimming available- turned out there was a gala on, but I saw the clip and climb had spaces and really glad we grabbed a slot.nnParking is limited and it can be hard to get a space sometimes but it is free when you input your reg at the front desk.. so that's handy and the reception staff are always helpfulnnWe used the clip n climb for the first time today too- can be a little difficult to get booked in on it, but my two absolutely loved it! Enough variety and challenges to keep my girls age 6 and 9 busy for a full hour and eager to come back to do it again.nnNever tried the gym facilities but from what I've seen they look good too,.. and all with the incredible view of the ocean.
Only ever been in for coffee, it's always clean and tidy and the staff are pleasant and helpful.nAs for the rest of the leisure centre I can't really comment to much. Pools looks nice with and there appears to be plenty of activities to take part in. They also appear to have function rooms for parties/meetings to use.
Great leisure centre. We went for clip and climb first thing, coffee and cake whilst the kids went climbing. Then went straight into swimming, plenty of lockers and changing rooms and the family pool and slides kept everyone entertained. Can’t promise it every time but saw dolphins out In the sea, but even without a great place to grab a few activities and some snacks overlooking the sea.
We visited whilst on holiday. Really good value for money. The facility is spotless and the staff were vigilant. The kids loved the flumes. Would definitely recommend.
Great family time. We visited the pools and my son loved the splash zone. Everything was tidy and there was plenty of space in the changing rooms. Lifeguards were really doing their job making sure the pools are used safely, thank you!
