We have now moved from tourer to static caravan. Lovely place. Very clean, food is 110% and you don't get entertainment anywhere else like you do here for the kids and adults.
Just got back from a week’s holiday, loved every second of it, great location. great beach access, nice clean pool, nice fish and chips, caravan was spot on. Caught a nice carp in the lake, not may in there, but some whoppers. Special mention to Matt on the kid’s entertainment, kept adults and kids entertained all week, with parties’ fancy dress and bingo. Great place, already booking for next year.
A lovely leisure park. Pool gym and next door to a brilliant market. The site is clean and tidy. The toilet blocks are clean and nice. The park has an on-site shop with a cafe. The shop stocks COOP brand and Nisa. So really well priced. The cafe is great value and serves nice food. On site chippy which is a must to try. The club is called the tow bar. Outside seating with a large TV playing sport when we went. Next to the bar is an American dinner that serves pizzas as well. Eat in or take out. When we arrived we were taken to our pitch, which makes life simpler. A lovely site, we will definitely be booking another break.
A bit too hot and far too many dropped fried onions for a successful trip with a couple of dogs to the manically busy Sunday market. Good if you like a busy market, but not for me or the beagles.
Car and van covered in tree sap and wasps after 2 nights couldnt open windows Don't stop on superpitches 6 - 10 wasp infested and car and van looked a mess had to clean when got home.Large social club with entertainment is friendly.Also swimming baths on site.Large car boot and indoor market very good. .
Can here in a haven caravan Monday to Friday. Just granddaughter and me. Went swimming each morning. Came in term time so very quiet. Staff were so friendly and helpful. So close to Bridlington and Hornsey. Had a fantastic time. Playground: Large, well maintained playground. Fit for toddlers to teens. Lots of equipment. Dog-friendliness: On a rainy Wednesday we sat at the picture window and watched all the dog walkers. Loved it. Picnic area: A family friendly site. Yes it big but feels so safe. Lots of grass areas to get the picnic basket out.
Great site would have given 5 stars but the shower cubicles could do with a little work rusty soap holders and the push buttons for the shower are not on long enough only minor but would certainly be a great improvement without much cost.
Nice spacious pitches access to beach swimming pool on site kids play ground a club on site and a pub for a meal and quiet drinks fish and chip shop supermarket and cafe and there's a large market and car boot on Sundays
Called to Skielingtin to use cafe and chip shop. Lovely site. Has everything going for it. All staff from maintenance to shop staff very friendly. X x
