Great site for children, great facilities. It does get busy and in my opinion the pitches are a little to close but it’s still a fantastic site. Walking distance to beach and town. Park and ride at the top On-site club house Park Shop Fish and chips Security do patrols overall a great family site. Wouldn’t recommend for a couples quiet holiday.
I've been coming to this site since I was a child with my father now I bring my children. It has been a family favourite site for us all, never had any issue with the site, great children's playground and even more so with the new addition on the touring side. Entertainment has always been great with fair prices on drinks and food. Always clean and caravans are top notch. Can not wait to be back with the family for more fun
Don’t know why that originally came up as one star but this is a great site, really well situated close to the beach and has great amenities and the pitches for tourers are great. Site is secure and safe for children. Awesome toilet/showers and most importantly, very clean. We have enjoyed 3 stays here and would definitely go back and recommend the site for tourers and tents.
We enjoyed our stay. The pitch we were on was spacious. Nice pub and shop on site. Just 2 negatives. The toilets and showers in the closest block to us, closed for cleaning around 9 am. Just at the time most people wanted to use them. No cleaning times on display. Only bins for rubbish were at the entrance. Bit of a trail to dispose of rubbish.
Our second time on site.... Great for families and very kid friendly. Decent sized park and felt safe letting our kids have a little explore around the tent. Huge toilet/shower block facility x 2, kept very clean and regularly cleaned by staff. Half mile down the road you can get the land train from the beach into brid or coach.... £12 for a family of 4, OR £5.60 for all day parking which includes train and coach return park and ride. Also only 20 minutes through to Flamborough head so great location for visiting around. Only reason it isn't a 5 star is pitch sizes are a tad small, 5 man tent with awning and small windbreaker space out front, and a car at the side.... pretty much no pitch space left for anything else. Stayed 3 nights and 4 nights so far.... intend to go back next year for a longer stay. On site small shop, chip shop and restaurant well priced for good bar food. 3 entertainment bars including family room with typical cheese children's entertainment, and small amusement/arcade area.
Lovely place to stay. Clean, well laid out, good facilties, friendly staff. Only comment would be that it would be better if there were bins at both ends of the site, rather than just by the entrance.
Fabulous time as always. Staff brilliant. Food in Makis onsite is great. Tried the carvery this time. Thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed on a fully serviced pitch, what a chilled out experience that was, well worth the extra.
Nice level site with hardstanding for leisure vehicles. Small sized for caravans with awnings, but adequate for motorhomes/campervans. Clean and modern toilet blocks. Well maintained grass and roadways. Still busy even in October. Book early to avoid disappointment. Playground: Well planned play area with fencing, Dog free, so no danger of treading in a mess. Good age range catered for. Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcomed on leads around the site, with plenty of poop-bins. Beach is unrestricted, I believe, for dogs.
Great stay. amenities very clean, only down side water taps all froze so could do with one in amenities also several people not taking notice of not allowing fowling on site and to take to Woods or offsite.
Good site well kept and the shower blocks were very good. The park pub had good choice of meals which we enjoyed and the children loved the games in the family room. Will be going again next year.
